The museum has one of the finest collections of ancient Indian artifacts: pots, bowls, turkey feather cloak, reed sandals, feather aprons, and many other fascinating treasures. There is an archaeological dig with an Anasazi Indian ruin that dates back over 1300 years ago. Climb down into the kiva and view how the structure was built and learn about the sipapu and religious ceremonies.brbr2 miles south of town in West Water Canyon is the 5 Kiva Pueblo ruin. You can cross the canyon and respectfully view the structure up close.brbrA 5-minute drive takes you to the Nations of the Four Corners. There are hiking trails that lead to replica homes of the Anasazi, Ute, Paiute, and Navajo Indians as well as the Mexican and Pioneers that settled the area.
