Tall people may have to duck in the stairway. The room with the 1 twin bed is small but adequate for 1 person and the room with the twin and trundle bed is a tight fit when the trundle bed is in use. While the whole house is equipped with central air the loft area is equipped with additional heating and window air conditioner units. The swimming pool is cleaned between guests and sanitizer is automatically injected for safe levels but weather and nature may cause the pool to accumulate leaves, dirt and bugs. An additional cleaning can be arranged for a fee. Heating the pool to 80 degrees can be arranged for an additional fee Babies and children who are not potty-trained are not allowed in the pool or hot tub. The majority of our guests have no complaints and have a five star stay. READ BELOW brbrThe home has an original exposed brick wall, high end finishes, a huge kitchen island, 10’ tall main floor or ceilings, and an entertainer’s dream backyard.brbrbrBring your pet too! brbrEver since I was a kid, I was fascinated with old homes and the charm that came with them ; excellent brickwork, tall ceilings, and so much more. The Victorian was purchased in complete disrepair. Everything needed to be replaced and it had substantial structural issues. Purchasing this home, I truly had no idea how much work would end up going into this restoration but in the end, now stands a fully remodeled historic 1907 Victorian. To restore old homes is my passion and this project, although difficult at times, was a labor of love. brbrNOTE - There is an attached studio apartment separate from the main home. There is a desk with an office space and some cozy leather loungers. There is also another 55’’ Smart TV in the loft. brbrLaundry - brThere is a laundry room in the basement. It is finished but does have concrete floors and walls. Be careful going down to the laundry as the head height is only around 6’ 8’’.brbrExterior/ Driveway+ Garage (SHARED WITH STUDIO APARTMENT) - br1. You are able to park 2-3 cars off the street. One of the cars can be in the garage. The third off street parking spot is dependent on vehicle size. If you have a larger car or truck it won’t fit in this 3rd spot but larger vehicles can fit in the other 2 spots no problem. Reach out to your host with questions or about the vehicles you have to confirm it’ll fit!br2. The backyard is almost fully fenced except for the driveway area. br3. With it being a 100+ year old home you may hear some noise travel between units but it should be minimal. The studio is attached to the main home. There are no floors above or below the studio. If you have any issues with noise reach out to your host. brbrYou will be given 2-3 off street parking spots, with one being in the garage. The concrete pad in front of the garage is shared with the studio apartment who gets a parking spot. The long driveway must stay clear so that both units can use it to enter and exit. The third off street parking spot is dependent on vehicle size. If you have a larger car or truck it won’t fit in this 3rd spot but larger vehicles can fit in the other 2 spots no problem. Reach out to your host with questions or about the vehicles you have to confirm it’ll fit!brbrbrbrBackyard and ammenities is entirely shared with the studio.brbrI created the backyard with multiple different spaces so guests/travelers could interact with one another but also have their own space.. the way airbnb was originally made for.br1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING. Each guest must be on the reservationbrbr3) Fees: There is a $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property. brbrThere is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE if you are there longer or arrive earlier than you have been authorized, causing the cleaner to have to wait for you or be rushed. I care about my cleaners very much, and their time is valuable :)brbrEnjoy the fire pit, but be sure to keep it clean after use and extinguish your fire! If using the gas firepit, ALWAYS turn off the propane after use.brbr4) Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Be a good neighbor!brbr5) brPET RULES AND FEES:brbrMY pet fees are different than the standard Airbnb platform pet fees. Airbnb does not allow me to do a nightly rate for the pet fee, they only for the entire stay. The PET fee is not included in the booking. As a pet owner myself, I don`t like getting charged high pet fees for short stays, that is why I created my own separate per-night pet fee to be added after booking. I am also willing to be reasonable on the pet fee for longer stays. Ultimately I am not trying to be sneaky about the pet fees but I want to try to make the fees fair for all guests with pets who come for short stays or for long!brbrWe allow (3) pets! You must agree to $25/night per pet fee, added to the booking total after booking (Please inquire about the pet fees for longer stays). Please also agree to a Zero impact pet policy (meaning there will be no sign a pet was onsite upon departure, you don’t allow pets on furniture). You accept full liability for your pets. brbr6) I don’t allow mail delivery as this unit has no mailbox. Please use Amazon locker or equivalent. Please speak with the host first if you need to send mail.brbr7) Alterations/Changes: Once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy. The host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration of at least a partial amount to the discretion of the host.brbr8) All events at the property must be discussed with the host and will involve event rate pricing. The driveway has tons of parking space!brbr9) Hot Tub Information- Before using the hot tub make sure to unbuckle all 4 plastic clips on both sides of the cover before folding it over so they do not break. They break easily and are costly to repair. brbrPlease be sure to wash the body of any dirt, oils, and/or lotions before entering the hot tub, and do not spill any beverages/eat any food in the hot tub. After each hot tub use, we ask that you place a small baggie of shock that is provided in an ammo box and run the jets for a few minutes. Be sure to turn the jets off after those few minutes. This will help keep the water super fresh during your stay! Be sure to keep the shock baggies away from kids and pets! There will be a $125 charge if the hot tub water is in very poor condition after your stay. It is in more of an industrial and commercial location in south salt lake so it is not your typical neighborhood. I like to see this as a sanctuary in the hustle and bustle industrial area, thus the reason for the name :). The noise definitely subsides as the day goes on and ultimately at night the house is quite peaceful, with the exception of someone driving to their home in the street or the apartment buildings at the end of the street. The house is NOT fully fenced but it is close because the driveway area is open for your car to drive in. There is also no gate on the front yard fenced area. The park has tons of grass if needed for your pet! There is a king bed, 3 fulls, and one twin. The main level has the king bedroom, bathroom, and full bedroom. The loft has a twin and a full. While it does have shorter ceiling in the loft, it is a very cozy spot. The house has Central AC but the loft is a bit slower to cool down so there is an additional portable AC unit in the loft for you to use.brbrYou have your own washer and dryer in the house. There is also a ski rack in the laundry room. brbrThere is lightning fast Fiber Wifi, perfect for working remotely. brbrThe park down the street has pickleball courts and is perfect for your pets to run around at. brbrThis house location is very close to Central Park Community Center and is perfect for extra parking for your events. You are welcome to hold events on the property with pre approval and additional fees. It is a great birthday spot!brbrYou will have access to the entire single-family house. You do not share the house with anybody.brbrThere is a long driveway on the side of the house and plenty of parking in the back of the house as well. Please note that the street is a bit slim so large trailers will have to be parked in front of the house as the turning radius is too tight to get into the driveway. Even with being so close to the main road, it does not sound that way inside the home. brbrYou are a block away from the beautiful Central Park in Salt Lake. This park has pickleball, baseball, basketball, a playground for kids, and even soccer fields. It has plenty of room for your pup to run around at! The neighborhood and park have great mountain views. There are great places to eat and drink close by in all directions. brbrNibley Park Golf course is 3 blocks east and has great mountain views.brbrThe home has a very long driveway for plenty of off-street parking. There is even spots for you to park in the back of the home which is completely covered in concrete and fenced around!brbrBoth interstate highways that pass through Salt Lake (I-15 and I-80) are minutes away from the home. You are around 35 minutes away from the ski mountains at Alta, Brighton, Snowbird, Solitude, Deer Valley and Park City. brbrThis location is amazing. It`s very central, walking distance to restaurants, and quick to get to downtown. brbrGetting to and from the airport is a breeze at this location!
