Don't forget to do a cannonball!brbrThere is a lot to do on the property, including volleyball, basketball, pickleball, large playground, and corn hole. The storage space to the right of the office has all the sports equipment needed to be borrowed and returned. Not enough beach toys and boogie boards in your condo If you need more you can borrow some from the office; just don't forget to return them. We also have several park style BBQ grills and picnic tables across the property, so don't forget your charcoal!brbrOur beach walk is between buildings D & E. It has an outdoor shower and a water hose to rinse off those beach toys and sandy shoes. The beach walk is about a football field length to the beach at marker #3. It’s sidewalk most of the way and turns into a blue mat over the dunes making it easy to pull a wagon or cooler. The walk is pedestrian traffic only, no golf carts. It's even lighted at night.brbrThere is plenty of parking on the property. You have 1 assigned space and there is overflow parking for additional vehicles. Yes, we are in the golf cart district, and you can park the carts in the golf cart spots or in your assigned space. We even have parking for your trailer or boat in the overflow parking. The boat parking section has electricity for charging batteries and water to rinse off your boat.brbrWe take care of our fishermen and women with our fish cleaning station by the overflow parking. The fish station has water, lights, and electricity so late-night cleaning, and electric knives are perfect. brbrOften on our Texas beaches tar comes ashore. This can be very messy and hard to clean. This cottage offers 1 br (queen), a twin sized day bed with trundle, full bath, 2 smart tv’s, and a full kitchen.brThe spacebrThe Salty Clam is a 2min golf cart ride to the beach Access Rd. 1A, or a 10mim walk to Beach lodge which brings you to the beach.brDominos is right behind the property and is golf cart accessible, also right down the road on 11th street there is Jack Fish golf cart rentals where you can rent a golf cart by the hour or by the day. Please DO NOT take your golf cart on HWY 361 per city ordinance.brbrFriendly reminders and rules for The Salty Clam:brbr-The cottage is a No Smoking zone, please Do Not smoke inside ($500 fee enforced).br-Please do not have more people than allowed stay over night.br-You can jam but no excessively loud music, Port Aransas enforces quiet time at 11p.m.br-Towels provided in the cottage are not intended for beach use. Please do not remove any towels or linens from the cottage. Any missing or damaged linens/towels will be charged for.br-Please do not leave the cottage doors open.br-We want to keep our little cottage cute and clean for every guest so the cottage will be checked and inventoried before check-in and immediately after departure. Any property damage or missing items will be charged for.br-Please for all that is good and holy do not clean fish on the property. (Roberts' Point Park and Marina has a great fish cleaning area. Also, keep in mind that most of the docks here in Port Aransas will clean your catch for a fee.)br-The cottage is not child proofed, please be with your child at all times.br-The cottage is not stocked with beach chairs or towels, please come prepared with these items.br-WIFI is provided; Port A does experience outages from time to time.br-Absolutely NO subscribing to channels or ordering movies.
