There are two hot tubs, a fitness center and picnic/BBQ areas. We provide self check in instructions 24-72 hours prior to arrival - and when you are on vacation - YOU ARE ON VACATION. Should you need to reach us, however, we are but a phone call or email away and ready to assist you. We are happy to answer any questions at any time, but to ensure we give you the correct code we cannot provide access instructions earlier than this.brbrBed linens for all beds, one bath, hand and wash cloth for each guest that the unit welcomes. We do not provide beach/pool towels as when we did – they continuously went home with our guests. If you wish to “rent” beach towels from us – it is $25 for condos that accommodate up to 6 guests and $35 for condos that accommodate up to 8 guests. Which is only the additional cost of the laundering of them – labor time, laundry products, etc. We will need to have a credit card on file for this as if there are beach towels missing upon your departure, the charge is $25 per towel. We ask that our bath towels not be removed from the condo and taken to the beach or pool. They can get damaged or lost. brbrStarter supplies: 2 rolls of 2-ply, quilted toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a dishwasher tablet, small dishwashing liquid, sponge, 2 small soaps, 2 small shampoos, trash bag, and coffee including sweeteners, stir sticks, powdered creamer to make that first pot. These are intended to get you started while you make your list and decide where to shop (there is a WalMart, Kroger, Randall's, Arlan's and Target on the island, as well as many mom & pop grocery stores. brbrThe Victorian condominium complex is located on Seawall Boulevard with protected (traffic signal) crossing at the corner for ease of getting to the beach. You will be close to shopping and eateries - so whether you plan to experience Galveston's culinary adventures or save money by cooking in (some or all of your meals) it's convenient from this central Seawall Boulevard Location.brbrThe Victorian condominium complex – like almost every condominium complex and hotel in Galveston, charges a parking/resort/amenity fees. This is not a charge from My Galveston Getaway and is paid directly to the complex upon your arrival. They will issue a parking permit and may issue wristbands that identify guests who are authorized at the complex. They will also provide guests with the codes for the gates to enter the property - both drive-through and walk through, pools, hot tubs, fitness center and the WiFi code which is changed monthly. It is a complex-wide WiFi system. The charge is $35 + tax and includes up to 2 parking permits. This is for stays that are up to 7 consecutive nights in duration. For stays of 8-31 days it is $70 + tax, and for extended stays it is $70 + tax per month. We are unable to collect this in advance and pay it to the Victorian on your behalf. We don’t get to make the rules, we just play by them!brbrThere are several pay-per-use laundry facilities at the Victorian, these accept credit and debit cards as methods of payment.br brMany of our owners have switched out to “Smart” TV’s – so bring your login information with you to sign in to your own subscription services, and don’t forget to log-out before leaving.brbrThe Victorian complex does not allow renters to have a pet – so if you travel with Fido or Fifi – please check out the other My Galveston Getaway managed properties that ARE dog friendly.
