This home is a restored farmhouse from the 1930's and has been under current ownership for the past 30 years. The owners relocated on the property and loved the charm of the home and decided to share as a rental for those who need to slow down. It is centrally located in the Hill Country, 3 miles from Blanco, and approximately 35 miles from San Antonio, Austin, Fredericksburg, San Marcos, and Marble Falls. The home has 3 bedrooms, The master bedroom has a king size bed with bathroom, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. These 2 bedrooms have a bathroom in between with a tub. The master bathroom has tub and shower. Also included are 2 TV's with DirecTV . The house also has a couch in living room that will make into a double bed. A complete kitchen with microwave, keurig coffee maker, stove , fridge, and dishwasher. House visitors often enjoy seeing the deer and other country wildlife. This cabin is totally off the grid with its own septic, water and electricity powered by solar. If the power lines go down, we don’t care. With 24 panels and a backup generator, there is never a problem. The cabin is brand new, and I want my guests to treat it like their home. My wife was a voice teacher, so she does NOT permit any smoking in the cabin. BUT there is a gazabo just outside and many acres of land to wonder around if you like.brbrAs noted, the cabin is 1700 square feet, with 1 bath and 2 bedrooms. The living room also has two chairs that recline into beds. There is a large (70-inch TV with internet service and DirecTV which allows for virtually any movie, HBO, ESPN, etc. The kitchen is totally new and is complete (washer/dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, etc. It really is a home away from home.brbrBlanco is an old fashion town with numerous shops, restaurants, and parks. In fact, it still has a Nine-Pin bowling alley. But at the same time the Blanco River that runs through the town has many areas for swimming and picnicking. And just two miles out of town is the Vaaler Creek golf course (Voted the #1 Course in the Texas Hill Country by Golf Now)! Located inside the Rockin' J Ranch, this championship course of 18 holes features well-placed bunkers and beautiful water-features that provide a challenging, yet relaxing round of golf for players of all skill levels. Rockin' J Ranch is over 1000 acres of rolling hill country land and is home to the course. The ranch has some 150-year-old homes, and all the street names are named after Texas Rangers. Actually, there are 3 other top notch golf courses within 20 minutes of the Cabin. So ,if you want golf, Swimming, Boating, River Tubing, Water Slides, strolling through an old Texas town, or just want the solitude of a brand-new cabin in the woods, Morgan Haus is the place to visit. And, yes, the people here in Texas ARE super friendly. brbrThis is not some big professional rental outfit.
