Stayed Oct 6, 2025The property was clean and had all the needed supplies. The weather didn't cooperate but we still enjoyed the stay. Since it rained, we were limited to the screened in porch. Possibly move the big swinging chair on the deck so the view is not impeded. Other than that, lovely visit

Stayed May 17, 2025My husband and I stayed for a long weekend. Sitting out on the screen porch and out by the fire pit were our favorite parts. The place has a beautiful view of the lake and was close to our waterfall adventures and concert in The Caverns. The place is small, but plenty big for two (with extra room upstairs for 2 kids.)

Stayed Mar 21, 2025Perfect place to stay, relax and visit South Cumberland State Park. We were able to hike and enjoy the waterfalls! Our tiny home was a perfect spot right on the lake! Definitely recommend The Retreat to others!!

Stayed Dec 30, 2024Tiny home as advertised. Adequately furnished. Charcoal grill , fire pit and porches a real bonus. Great location with dock on lake. Houses well-spaced on property to allow a feeling of privacy! Only comment is that loft can be quite warm but is equipped with an efficient fan. Splendid views!!
