Outages are most often resolved in under 3 hours. We do not have a backup generator at this property, as most cabins in the area do not. In the case of a power outage, you can inform me and I will report the outage. Because the house in on well water - the water will not work in case of an outage so extra water on hand is a good idea if the weather is bad. The gas fireplace will keep the cabin warm.
