Two queen bedrooms sleep four, the kitchen's set up to actually cook in, and there's a smart TV in every room. About five minutes to JCMC and downtown's restaurants. Bring the dog — they're welcome here. Come on in and make yourself at home.brbrOnce you're up the front steps, it's all on one level — two bedrooms, one full bath with a stand-up tile shower, and an open-concept living and dining area. Both bedrooms have a queen bed and USB-C/USB-A plugs so you can charge everything without hunting for an adapter.brbrThe living space is open and bright with newer furnishings, a sofa and chair, and a table that seats four. The kitchen has an electric range and oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, a Keurig combo (K-cups and a drip pot), plus a blender and toaster. Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms run your streaming logins, fast cable wifi reaches throughout, and there's a laptop-friendly workspace if you need to work. Out front, a porch with two rocking chairs, and the driveway holds two cars with street parking if needed. You'll have the whole place to yourselves.brbrGood to know: there are six steps up to the front porch and they can be steep, so keep that in mind if anyone has trouble with stairs. It's a 1920s home with real character. A train passes nearby now and then — most guests barely notice, but a white-noise app helps light sleepers. There's no washer/dryer on-site, but a laundromat is close by and we offer a pickup-and-delivery valet laundry service. It is centrally located in a very nice subdivision in the center of town with main road access. br brIt is located in an excellent neighborhood which is close to ETSU, VA Hospital, walking distance to Freedom Hall Civic center, Johnson City Mall, Downtown Johnson City. Also a very short drive to Bristol motor speedway, Bristol Casino. brbrThe home is an older home built in the early 1950's. The shower pans are a bit older and have not been fully remolded yet. If things like that bother you please don't stay. The three bedrooms are as follows. The master has a king bed main floor, guest room has a queen bed also on main floor, and full bed located upstairs. Guests can relax in the tranquil atmosphere of this gorgeous property. It has an 8ft privacy fence around the entire back yard. Complete with a firepit, grill and also an outdoor tv for entertaining.brbr Enjoy all that Johnson City has to offer with the best location in the city! Enjoy the other features with the entire house to yourself in one of the best locations in the city. The lodge was built using mostly reclaimed wood from local tobacco barns. From the barn wood kitchen cabinets, to the tobacco flooring and siding, this lodge is truly unique. Even though the lodge was completed in 2015, it looks as though it has been there for a hundred years. From using a whiskey barrel to hold a faucet to rusty metal ceilings, this lodge is truly one of a kind. The lodge is equipped with all modern appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. Hand made barn wood cabinets and granite counter tops makes this kitchen an inviting place to cook and enjoy family time. brbrRelax on our Back Deck: A guest favorite…our back deck is the place to enjoy the great outdoors while watching the river go by. You might even see someone catching a fish! Featuring a stone wood burning fireplace, an outdoor kitchen area, and teak furniture & rocking chairs – this relaxed setting is the perfect place to unwind. This section of the Watauga River is a fisherman's paradise! This is just a great place to take advantage of the races and the river.br We enjoyed restoring the farm and house to make a scenic countryside vacation spot. We stripped down the house and were able to save the old pine floors and ceilings as well as some nostalgia some ancient metal shingles. We made some unique furniture out of barn wood and used luthier grade curly maple to make the kitchen cabinets.The plumbing is indoor and modern and the beds and linens are new. br The main level upstairs has 2 bedrooms-- a queen and a daybed with 2 twins, as well as a bath with an extra sink outside. The living room has a sleeper sofa and the small kitchen is on this level. br Downstairs has a King bedroom and a bunkroom along with a family area, laundry and bathroom. There are decks and access to take in the river and this is a great place to finish your float trip. You can pull out your boat or have your guide drop you off right where you are staying since this is the end of the river.br Our farm is where Watauga river becomes Boone lake and is on the edge of Johnson City so you are just minutes from the mall, cinemas and restaurants.
