If the system freezes due to the temperature being set too low for extended periods of time, it will become the guest’s responsibility to pay the repair fee which is around $200 per repair. The downstairs fans have a summer and winter rotation to lift air up or keep heat down. Feel free to adjust this with the remote as needed.brbrTRASHbrTrash pickup is every Thursday. We will move the cans to the road for pickup for you not to worry. You must receive owner approval to have more than 2 pets on the property. Please do not let pets on the furniture inside or outside of the house. Feel free to leave your dog off the lease around the house, but please be mindful to not let into the neighbors yard and keep them on a leash when walking through the nearby neighborhood. brbrEARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUTSbrPlease observe the designated check-in and check-out times. This gorgeous fully renovated house is for you! Over the last year we have poured our heart and soul into making this the perfect property for the entire family. Oak View Inn is conveniently located next to our incredible wedding venue (Aurora Farms) that we had built in 2017. Oak View Inn was renovated to accommodate everything that your entire family will need, whether your family is getting married at our venue or you just need a place to stay right in the middle of everything. The home was originally built in the 1940s and was right in the middle of a horse farm. This quiet slice of old living has been fully updated with everything that you need for an incredible stay. The property was a horse farm for the majority of its life. When we purchased the property in 2016 there was a full 25 horse barn, a horse racing track, and an oversized covered horse riding arena. We wanted to keep that awesome feel of the horse farm, while updating it to a completely modern farmhouse feel. brbrOak View Inn is a 3 story house with enough space for everyone. The first floor has 2 bedrooms, including the master, and 2 very private bathrooms. The kitchen comes straight from your dreams. It has all brand new appliances including a refrigerator, oven, stove, ice machine, multiple coffee machines, and a drink refrigerator. All of the hardware and faucets are new and beautifully matched to the charm of the kitchen. There is 2 dining rooms connected that can seat your entire party of 22. The entire first floor has freshly redone original hardwood flooring that brings the entire first story together. There is an oversized front porch that is completely covered and screened for your enjoyment. The overly comfy chairs out there will have you losing time and forgetting about all of your worries. There is also a patio of the back of the house connected to the kitchen. The back patio is the perfect place to enjoy your afternoon and eat dinner with the family. The old pecan tree is in direct line sight for your enjoyment. There is seating for 12 for everyone who wants to enjoy their dinner outside with a beautiful view. There is also a large family room for everyone to get together and enjoy a movie by the fireplace. brbrThe second floor has 4 of the 8 bedrooms. The real highlights of the second story is the game room and bridal suite. The game room is a perfect place for all of the guys to hang out and just have a relaxing time. The game room includes a bar that goes the entire length of the room to accommodate everyone. Whether your enjoying watching the huge flat screen tv, playing one of the many games on the arcade machine, or just playing a game of 8 ball on the pool table, there is something for everyone today. Don't forget to grab an ice cold drink in the 50s inspired fridge while enjoying all of the amenities in the game room. The bridal suite on the other hand is ideal for all of the women to come together and pamper themselves. The cosmetic bar and mirror stretch most of the room making for a fantastic experience getting ready together. Two closets come together to give everyone enough room and create a fairytale get together with everyone. The best part is the private bathroom that resides in the bridal suite. You will feel like a million bucks after a day relaxing and pampering yourself. brbrThe third story is 2 bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The third story is for the people in your party that like a little peace and quiet. You will feel seperated from the world in this quiet oasis. It offers beautiful views of the entire property while still being connected with everyone you came with. Convenient to Michelin, BMW & 5 hospitals. Easy drive to several State parks and the mountains. The apartment is attached to a private house where 2 quiet adults live. It is completely closed off from main house. No smoking or heavy scents are used or can be used by tenant due to allergies. You can see a dirt drive to the back of the property, but the drive from the house to the street paved. There's a bistro set on the deck, charcoal grill and seating on patio. There are 2 TVs with high speed internet Prime, Hulu,Paramount plus, Netflix & more. Lots of utensils, dishes, microwave, double hotplate, toaster oven/air fryer, electric skillet, pressure cooker, coffee maker, pots and pans, kitchen towels, and cleaning supplies Housekeeping and wash and fold laundry services available as an extra. There are 3 bedrooms (all with King gel-memory foam mattresses), 2.5 bathrooms, a Queen sleeper sofa, and a private patio. Enjoy a neighborhood feel while being minutes from the city.brbrImportant: This property has a steep driveway, and unless you’re the only car parked, there is not space to turn around at the top. You’ll need to back out onto the street when exiting. It is safe and manageable when taken slowly. Once you begin backing out, oncoming cars can clearly see you and will slow down to let you exit. In our experience, drivers are attentive and give plenty of space.brbrDedicated parking for 2 cars in the large shared driveway. Additional temporary parking is available on a neighboring street, about 1 minute walk from the house.brbrThe fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals—refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a drip coffee maker with coffee supplies. You'll also find pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, bakeware, and cooking essentials. There is also a dining table that comfortably seats 8 guests.brbrThe open floorplan of the main level has plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen Smart TV (no cable provided). This floor also has a half bathroom. A queen sleeper sofa in the separate living room offers extra sleeping and lounge space for guests. If you need to get some work done, there is also a dedicated desk and chair.brbrThe upper level has 3 bedrooms, all with KING beds and walk-in closets. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom (low-threshold shower for easy entry), and the second bathroom is located in the hallway. Ample towels, bathroom essentials, and toiletries are provided.brbrThere is a large washer and dryer on the upper level. An iron and ironing board are provided in the main bedroom closet.brbrHigh-speed WiFi is available throughout the property.brbrThe unit has a private outdoor patio, separated from the adjacent unit by a privacy fence.brbr----------------brA few things to note:brbr- If you have a larger group, the full duplex may be available to rent (check out the Entire Duplex listing on my profile). Although each side is very well-insulated, please note that there is potential for noise from other guests on the other side.brbr- Our home is located in a residential area, hosting both locals and tourists alike. You may occasionally hear everyday sounds like barking dogs, crowing roosters, or neighbors spending time outdoors. Many popular restaurants and attractions are just minutes away. If you have any specific questions or concerns, I encourage you to check out previous guest reviews or reach out before booking.brbr- Smoking is NOT allowed inside or around the property. brbr- There are a couple of train lines about 1-mile away that run through Taylors. We are also located along a road that gets moderate traffic during the day. The house is very well-insulated, but during your stay you may hear train or traffic noises in the distance. For our light sleepers, we've provided a white noise machine in the main bedroom for your comfort should you need it.brbr- If you are bringing infants/babies, note that the home is NOT baby-proofed.brbr- This is a residential neighborhood so large events and loud parties are NOT allowed.brbr- Maximum of 8 guests per reservation.brbr------brBooking Requirements:brWe're excited to welcome guests from all backgrounds and want to make sure every stay is enjoyable, safe, and comfortable for both you and our neighbors.
