The primary bedroom has it's own ensuite with a walk-in shower and the hall bathroom is a tub/shower combo. Everyday necessities are in place for your use. The kitchen is fully equiped for the family chef and there is a private courtyard for morning coffee or a nighttime cocktails and a gas grill too. Grocery stores are walking distance (Aldi's, Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Harris Teeter and Walgreeens). Minutes by car to DT Charleston w/fabulous restaurants, museums, gardens, art galleries & more. Walking distance to Shem Creek, known for it's restaurants & bars, paddleboard & kayaking options, or a scenic boat tour to view Charleston from the Atlantic ocean and wait there is also a boardwalk stroll which takes you almost to the Atlantic Ocean where you can fish. The beach is 12 minutes by car (Sullivan's Island) and there are more beach options to venture too with a bit further drive. My home is suitable for either a long or a short term stay too! The first floor consists of an open living room, dining room, and kitchen as well as 1/2 bathroom and laundry area. Off the main living area, the spacious master mother-in suite includes a King bed, private living area, kitchenette, and full bathroom. In this 1st floor suite, you will also find a loft space with a queen bed. Off the back of the first floor is a private patio and grilling area with outdoor seating. Upstairs there are 3 additional bedrooms. The upstairs master consists of a large king bed and full ensuite bathroom. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms share access to a large full bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and the 4th bedroom holds two twin beds. It’s only 3 miles to Sullivan’s Island Beach, 6 miles to downtown Charleston, and less than 2 miles to Shem Creek which has many dining options, shops, and beautiful views of the water!brbrThis single story brick home is privately situated on a quiet street in Old Mount Pleasant. With 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms it’s the perfect place for groups or families of 8 or more people. It has a large circle driveway and parking available for multiple vehicles. The backyard has been recently renovated to include a large saltwater pool with tanning ledge, 4 Ledge Lounger chairs, and 8 pool chairs to sit back and relax. The pool is surrounded by artificial turf and a putting green with 4 holes on the side of the yard. There is a deck off the back of the house with a propane grill and an outdoor table with umbrella and 6 chairs. Inside the home there are vaulted ceilings in the main living spaces and master bedroom. The kitchen has an 11 ft island for the best of entertaining! The full kitchen has a refrigerator, stovetop double oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, knife set, and many items for cooking and baking. There’s a coffee bar with a Keurig K Mini Plus coffee maker with complementary K-cups for your first morning. There’s also a Black & Decker drip coffee maker with filters provided. brbrThe spacious living room has a large sectional couch, 65” smart TV with all your streaming apps (Disney +, Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video). The master bedroom has a walk-in closet, smart TV, and private bathroom with large soaking tub and walk-in shower. Bedroom 1 has its own small private full bathroom with shower. Bedroom 2 has a smart TV with streaming apps. There is a laundry room with a GE washer and dryer. There is also a kids playroom with a futon that pulls out to a twin sized bed. brbr* This house can sleep 10 people total. There are 3 queen sized beds and 1 king sized bed. Also, there are other sleeping options which could be on the futon in the playroom/office (pulls out to a twin bed), the large convertible bean bag chair in the living room opens to a full foam mattress bed, or on the sectional couch. We will provide pillows and linens for all guests listed on the reservation. brbr** The backyard is a fully fenced in 1/2 acre. There is a large 15x30 ft pool with an oversized tanning ledge. The depths range from 3.5 ft to 5 ft. The pool can be heated upon your request for an additional $300 only if the air temperature stays above 60 degrees F. brAlso, we have a camera placed on the pavilion in the backyard for safety and liability reasons. Pets are not allowed. brbrSmoking is NOT allowed in this house. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is ONLY permitted outside of the property, but please try to keep at least 10 feet from the doors. brbrThis house is located in a quiet, charming, family-friendly neighborhood. Please be mindful of our wonderful neighbors by keeping noise to an appropriate level when enjoying the backyard and outdoor spaces. brLive bands and loud music are NOT permitted in the backyard at any time. Mount Pleasant has a strict noise ordinance in place. The daytime limit is 60 decibels which starts at 8 a.m., dropping to 55 decibels after 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and after 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. This means absolutely no yelling or screaming in the backyard at anytime and being mindful of your noise level when enjoying the outdoor space. brbrWe encourage guests to leave their shoes by the front door under the long bench when coming into the house.
