Peaceful and quiet

Small quiet cabin in the woods. Owner communication was excellent. There were no issues. We would have liked a real oven, but there was a toaster oven and a countertop induction cooktop that worked just fine.

Great location near Table Rock and Caesar 's Head! The cabin was clean, comfortable and had a nice warm environment. We loved the screened in porch!

Great little place to stay. Very close to Table Rock State Park. There were tons of carpenter ants, and two scorpions were in the kitchen. I realize it is in the woods, so not totally unexpected, but the scorpions freaked me out a bit. The property was very clean, but I only reduced the rating because of all the ants (dead and alive) and scorpions. Very responsive host. Hard to find. The directions were a bit confusing. I had to drive around a bit to find the place. It was quiet and peaceful.

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy and warm upom arrival. Really appreciated the suggestions for hikes. Prompt and clear communication from the host was amazing. Definitely will book again if when we revisit the area in the nesr future

Great property -- quiet, clean, comfortable, and so well designed. Lots of little touches to make this home more comfortable and practical. It's really amazing what a nice job they did with this shed. Felt just like a cabin. Host was extremely communicative and helpful. Caution: the gravel road and driveway are rough; be sure to come in a vehicle that can handle it. Very close to Table Rock State Park, which we highly recommend - especially the Carrick Creek trail. Don't hesitate, book this place!

THE CUTEST cabin! Perfect for a couples getaway or with a friend. The property manager was great at communicating. She lives on the property, but you aren’t really on top of each other. It’s super private with lots of woods around. The place was clean, everything worked, and it appeared to be well maintained on the inside. The nonstick cookware really sold me! Y’all know how some of these VRBOs got the worst cookware. Ha! Anyways, my pups had a great time as well. It’s very secluded and the grocery store is about 20 mins away. Super happy with our stay & experience.

It was very quiet, private, and just relaxing to be in. The place is clean and comfortable. There's a nice screened in back porch.

Plenty of space for my wife and me and our dog. Communication with our host (Charlotte) was excellent. After days spent hiking and otherwise exploring the surrounding area - it was also nice to unwind on the screened in back porch. We both found the bed to be very comfortable as well.

We spent three days at the cabin. The bed was comfortable, Charlotte had some dog dishes ready for my dog (and I forgot her dishes). We had everything we needed. It took me a few minutes to figure out the induction stove. You have to put the pan or pot on the burner before you choose the temperature, but after that it was smooth sailing! I loved the back porch and the rockers. There was a tower fan and a ceramic heater available and the last day we thing wefigured out the air conditioner can double as a heater. Cute and homey decor. We didn't meet Charlotte but we were gone a couple of days exploring.

Very cozy and comfortable little cottage tucked away in a very peaceful corner of the mountains. I plan to stay here again! Host was very cordial and responsive.The road in is a little rough, not a problem for me, really, just be prepared and aware and take it slow. I recommend this one!

Just what I was hoping for! Trees, mountains, privacy, comfort... so amazing! The cabin was adorable, very well thought out, simple, comfortable, warm shower with good water pressure! Loved it so much. Close to State Parks and lots of trails, stuff to do.

Loved everything about the Cabin and the location. Charlotte was a pleasure to deal with and communicate with. Me and my wife will definitely be going again. Rest and relax and enjoy the great outdoors. At its best

This is my second time staying at the Gnome Hill Cottage. It's a perfect spot for some needed get-away time. It's quiet & isolated, yet not far from Travelers Rest or several trails. Charlotte is a very thoughtful & responsive host.

It was amazing! Very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what I was looking for. The cabin was beautifully furnished. It was a perfect getaway and I'd highly recommend it!

My husband and I came to the cabin for a little weekend getaway and to have a peaceful, quiet Thanksgiving holiday with our puppy and each other. The cabin was ADORABLE, super clean, well stocked with supplies, and we loved how isolated we felt, while still having excellent wifi. We were able to read, play videogames, watch Christmas movies, and relax! Absolutely would stay again!!

My partner and I (and our two dogs) greatly enjoyed our time at Charlotte's cabin. It was very quiet and had all the amenities we needed. I will say that the drive up from the main road was more precarious than I was expecting based on the information provided in the listing. I have a midsize SUV, so it was no problem for us, but I would not recommend driving a sedan up the dirt/gravel roads.

My husband and I spent 9 nights at the Gnome Hill cottage. The cabin is very cute and well equipped. We cooked almost every meal including a couple times on the grill. Our last two nights the temperature dropped and we enjoyed sitting on the patio with a fire in the fire place. We had our dog with us who probable enjoyed the vacation as much if not more than us. She loved running through the woods, investigating all the new smells. We explored the near by towns, and went to the Big Foot Festival. The host was extremely helpful and took care of our needs. She made us feel very welcome.

We unfortunately visited at the time hurricane Helene came through and experienced a lot of rain and downed trees but the host was ver accommodating and we got through it together. The trip was fun exciting and a little scary at times but we will gladly go back
