The main living area has a two-story vaulted ceiling with floor to ceiling A-Frame windows. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with all of your dining and cooking needs which includes a large 8 burner stove and double ovens on the wall. The main bedroom suite includes partial wrap around windows with its own seating area with propane fireplace. The main bathroom has an oversized shower with jacuzzi tub and double sinks. Each additional bedroom has windows with a view of the lake. We have a pair of binoculars in each room-just for something fun! Another avenue of interest for guests is the expansive DVD collection. This beautiful, quiet property is adjacent to the Raystown Lake Federal Lands* and in between the Marina and Resort areas. We constantly try to improve the property, and in 2018 we extended the all-seasons room to the deck, making a large outdoor deck area! We added a fire pit and a new, larger, hot tub! Stroll down a private (no homes front the land), quiet country lane to a quiet entrance to the lake. You can hear the birds singing and the fish leaping out of the water! This is a great place for kayaking, fishing, or playing in the water. (We can rent up to 4 kayaks upon request, in cooperation with another owner, so we must charge an additional fee. You must transport to the water.) The lakeside is also a perfect place for a private picnic or to gaze at the stars. brJust one mile down the road is the Aitch boat launch and fishing pier. A wonderful view of the tree-covered mountains surrounds you. Public guided boat tours are available at the Marina and Resort areas.brbrYou will truly enjoy the smart HD TV in the living room, the regulation-sized (7') AMF pool table, and the 6-person hot tub. brbrThe master bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and a large master bath w/ oversized Jacuzzi (non-jetted) tub, separate shower, walk-in closet, and Kohler fixtures. Marina View Lodge is a large spacious home overlooking the Resort at Lake Raystown. From the moment you pull up the driveway the scenery will captivate you. Marina View Lodge offers the most breath taking view of Lake Raystown sitting high upon the mountain just minutes from Shy Beaver boat launch. When you walk through the front door you will find yourself in a large open foyer. This floor is an open floor plan consisting of a very large eat in kitchen with a custom made dining room table, living room with a wet bar and a 25 foot stone fireplace, guest bedroom , laundry room , half bath and master suite . The main floor also has 2 decks, one off each side of the home. Make your way up the log stair case to the top floor where you will find a full bath and 2 large guest bedrooms with amazing lake views. On the ground level you will enjoy playing a game of pool, sitting at the custom made bar, or relaxing and just watching a movie on a 70 flat screen tv. There is also full bath on this level and a bedroom with 2 custom made twin over full sized bunk beds made out of over 100 year old barn wood. This bedroom also has a couch ,loveseat , foosball table and flat screen tv. This house was kept true to the lake cabin feel with custom made Amish furniture through out . Each room has a more captivating view of the lake than the last.
