It was more than I have ever received from an Airbnb. Sure, it was expensive, but our trip was also during a holiday weekend, which added to the cost. The house was beautiful, and felt very private and safe. There is a lovely walking trail with access right behind the house. The house was great for our large group as there are many separate sleeping areas. We honestly didn't leave the house much, as there was just so much to do at the cabin. Town was a quick 4 minute drive, which was so convenient for picking up groceries and other essentials. We stayed mid November 2023, arrived Friday afternoon and left Sunday morning, for an unforgettable bachelor weekend. The location of this house is pretty easy to find with the directions provided by the host and is less than 2 minutes from exiting I 80 west. When entering the house your overtaken by beautiful craftsmanship of natural pine from floor to ceiling, spiral staircases throughout the complex, live edge features such as the kitchen island, and the massive wood burning fireplace that overlooks the living area floor. The kitchen had plenty of space for 4 guys helping cook breakfast and dinner and also provided enough space for eating. The basement is a true sanctuary for a bar game enthusiast. We spent most of our time down there shooting pool, playing shuffleboard, and having numerous big games of baseball beer pong. The huge live edge bar served us well as we watched college football on the tv that was surrounded by bottles and mirrors which really gave off a true bar vibe. Besides being fireside at the house and spending most of our time in the basement we went to Skirmish and played paintball for most of the day Saturday which I highly recommend. On returning we stopped at Four Fellas bar which is basically at the end of the driveway to the house and were surprised at how good food the bar food was there as well as the service and $2 miller lite drafts. We ended up having apps there before dinner at the house and then ended up returning late night for more fun at Four Fellas. I highly recommend booking this immaculate cabin for any type of event, it suited our crew of 17 guys perfectly and definitely had space for more attendees. Valhalla! The cabin was immaculate and huge. We loved the huge fireplace in the main family room, and also the outside fire pit. You can hear the running waters of the Lehigh River from the cabin. One of the great features of the cabin is the downstairs recreation room. Our son and his girlfriend and our daughter and her boyfriend spent the majority of the stay hanging there. It has a huge Irish Bar, a poker table, a pool table, and assorted other games. What a great party room. It is just a short walk through the woods to the Lehigh River Gorge state park walking trail. We hiked everyday down the trail, taking in the amazing views of the Lehigh River. With the hiking trail and river right outside our cabin, the fire pit, and the beautiful cabin's upstairs and downstairs living areas, plus the huge tv above the fireplace to watch the football games, we wound up never leaving the cabin. Lance and Lisa were amazing hosts, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even had our Thanksgiving dinner catered for us, which was delicious. We will definitely be returning for another stay soon, I can't imagine a better place to stay when in the Poconos. Our saying to all renters , You may see 3 people your entire stay but most likely it is the same person walking around the lake 3 times. We truly feel you will have special Vacation memories here. This development has a club house , pool , playground , and more. It is close to shops and restaurants. We hope some day you get to enjoy this magnificent Lake House we built from the ground up with our own hands. It is the only Lakefront home in 2 developments. Close to everything from golf to hiking to canoeing to skiing , and so much more. Technically , it is a 5 bedroom home but one bedroom has 3 full Arcade machines for the kids ( but the Dads seem to like it more ) and a small single pull-out loveseat bed. Also , Nature will visit you hear like deer , turkey , many birds , chipmunks , herons , and rarely black bear. We are very flexible with early check-in and late check-out ( most of the time FREE ). Our home site has alot more pictures that we could not download here on VRBO. A full working kitchen , breakfast nook , and a large dining area for a good sized group. Cozy up to the Wood stove or even an outdoor fire pit located steps from the property. Canoes and fishing equipment is provided along with a hammock to relax in and even a horse shoe pit for the kids to play. This home has everything from start to finish during your stay. There is no a/c because it is always 15 degrees cooler being on the lake and secluded with large trees shade. On occasion we allow pets. In fact , very often renters ask how to turn off the a/c when there is none........it is that cool even during the hot summer months. We built this home and adore it with all our heart....we know you will too. There is a reason we have over 100 repeat renters. We hope you will be too.

This is a 3 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Log Cabin located in the Pocono Mountains. It is a completely remodeled home with many added features. Downstairs you will find the living room with a propane fireplace, a game table to play cards or foosball along with 2 reclining couches. Behind the living room you have an entertainment area with a pool table that rotates into an air hockey table. Also their is a small bar and a hanging chair to relax and read books or wait your turn for the games! The dining room has seating for 6 and the kitchen has all essentials to cook. The stove top is propane and the fridge has water and ice. Walk out the back door to a nice 8 person hot tub. On the upper deck with the hot tub is a combonation propane/ charcoal grill with a side smoker. Back inside under the stairs are a large capacity washer and gas dryer. The downstairs bathroom has an new jacuzzi bathtub. The upstairs bedrooms are very spacious. One has a twin xl over full bunk bed and a queen bed. The other has a queen bed along with a couch to relax on which folds out into a full bed. This room also has access to the balcony with plenty of seating, a propane fire pit/table and wonderful views. The upstairs bathroom has a stand up shower with a bench built in to relax. Out back you will find a firepit that can be used along with a new 12ftx20ft deck. Out front you have a driveway to fit up to 4 cars.
