Luxury Log Cabin on private, 25 acre wooded lot - minutes from Raystown Lake

The log cabin was beautiful cozy and decorated perfect for Christmas. The cabin was very clean and easy to check in.

Great cabin and really good owners and communication.

Perfect. Secluded. Peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen. Activities for outside (fishing, bonfire, woodsy walks) AND inside (ping pong, air hockey, games) and a table big enough for 8 adults to comfortably sit around to play cards..although 10 could have also fit). Awesome weekend. Words of Wisdom : Apple Maps takes you to the vicinity, but not the correct property. Google maps worked better.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Bear Bottom! The property was spotless, spacious, and spectacular. All amenities were top notch and every nook was decorated for the season. The host checked in to make sure we arrived safely and communicated their expectations clearly. We hope to come back next year!

The property is beautiful. The house is beautiful and was super clean. Never thought twice about putting my 8 month grandson on the floor to crawl around.

Mark and Lisa were lovely to work with and their home is GORGEOUS. If you are lucky enough to get here you will not be sorry. Our family had the best time. And Raystown lake is just minutes away.

The property was great. Great location. We enjoyed the games etc in the basement because it rained but it would have been better if the basement was finished. They also need to do something about the carpenter bees. It is terrible what they are doing to the property and is annoying having saw dust fall on you when you are sitting on the deck.

Cabin is stunningly beautiful. Lisa and Mark have paid attention to details as house instructions were clear, and in multiple locations. They have even gone so far as to label light switches! Could not recommend a better area VRBO and the host went above and beyond on answering some questions we had.

We absolutely loved the cabin. We were staying the weekend for my son's graduation from PSU for undergrad and his Masters. It was a wonderful escape from all the crowds! It was quiet and peaceful. We cooked out on the grill and made Smores by the firepit. Hiking in nearby Raystown Lake State Park was beautiful. A perfect weekend.

We had a wonderful weekend at the beautiful Bear Bottom cabin. The house has a large open floor plan with 4 queen beds to accommodate our group of 8 adults. There is plenty of seating in the living area & kitchen to gather indoors. And a full wraparound deck with rocking chairs and a firepit to enjoy the outdoors. The Game room in the basement is in the works to be finished and already has darts, fooseball, air hockey & ping pong. It is a serene, remote location with a stocked pond on the property. Off site- Raystown lake & Huntingdon are a short drive away (15-20mins). Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

I have stayed at this cabin over a weekend in the spring for several years now and love it every time.

Great property to unwind from the hustle & bustle of life! Plenty of room to gather or spread out to decompress. A perfect weather weekend to enjoy walks, coffee on the wraparound porch and conversations around the fire pit! We even took the opportunity to have a mini tournament with all the fun games in the basement!

This cabin is everything it appears to be in the pictures plus more. You won't be disappointed booking this cabin for your stay!

Me and my wife took our son and his wife and 6 children to celebrated Are 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY AT THIS FABULOUS PLACE ,QUITE PLACE, VERY ,VERY CLEAN PLACE AND EVERYTHING AT YOUR FINGER TIPS ,,GREAT TO LOCOTION TO SPENT A DAY OR TWO ON RACETOWN TOWN LAKE.. WE RENTED A PONTOON BOAT FOR A DAY AND HAD A BLAST ,,A SHORT DRIVE BACK AND RELAXED TIPS ,,,

Loved everything about this property. Not too far from the lake and boat launch. We were able to get our 24’ pontoon up the driveway and easily able to turn it around. We will definitely be back!

We had 5 adults and an 18 month old for half the weekend, 3 adults the entire weekend. This location is magic! Everything is organized and labeled - it made my heart happy! The jacuzzi was wonderful (it does take a while to fill). The house is cozy yet has room to spread out. The land is beautiful. We were 15ish mins from Raystown Marina where we could rent a pontoon for the day. Cant wait to come back again!

We had extended family here for graduation weekend, and was a great homebase for all. Thank you!
