Our stay at Harvey’s Landing Mountain Top Lodge was disappointing due to several unresolved issues. The water supply was inadequate for the duration of our stay. The host claimed that more than 30 guests were present, which is inaccurate. We had 26 confirmed guests, verified in writing before arrival. This shows that the water issue was not caused by over-occupancy. The property failed to maintain a consistent water supply even within its stated capacity. The dryer was not operable during our entire stay. Although this was reported, the host later denied any malfunction without providing proof of inspection or repair. We also experienced unprofessional conduct from the host. Text message records clearly show dismissive and inappropriate communication. We provided proof for each issue, while the host provided none. This experience reflected poor management, lack of accountability, and misrepresentation of facts. I would not recommend this property.

Breathtaking property! We had a beautiful stay here, and plan to come back again. The sleeping arrangements were better than expected, and the kitchen was well stocked.

PROS: The amazing view, the (mostly) paved driveway up the steep mountain, lots of beds, lots of space, large dining room table, open layout, large fire pit, great for large groups.CONS: Some parts of the house were in need of repair, e.g. the deck needs to be repainted and is reaching the end of its life, the fume hood in the kitchen was not operable, the house has lots of knick knacks and personal effects in every nook and cranny, the beds are very firm (some people prefer this), no wood is provided with the rental. Overall, the house is beautiful, we had a great stay, but the house is not quite as polished as some other options, particularly at this price point.

This was a great house for a large group. Very secluded, quiet, and peaceful with beautiful scenery. Only potential downside to mention is that if it is snowy or icy, it can be very difficult to get up and down from the house. But the owner was very responsive in trying to help us out. Would recommend

Every year my friends and I rent a cabin for New Years Eve. As our group has begun to grow with marriages and relationships, it’s gotten increasingly more difficult to find a large enough place to accommodate us. Harvey’s Landing was absolutely immaculate and spacious enough for all of us. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a couple days’ stay. The only minor hiccup we had was that the cabin runs on a water well. The previous guests had used a lot more than anticipated which left us in a pinch for an hour or two. However, this showed the great communication with the owners that ordered a water delivery the night we checked in. I would absolutely recommend anyone that’s looking for a place for a large group or get together!

We had such a fantastic weekend with our extended family. Gorgeous views, with a teeny bit of snow - just enough to make everything magical. What a great time!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! This is a lovely house, with a well stocked kitchen for preparing food for large groups. The only suggestion I would make, is it would be helpful to renters to know that that dual bedroom suite does not have the same privacy as a regular bedroom. Going back and looking at the listing I can see in the corner of one photo that the bedrooms are joined, but it was not obvious. I’m letting you know this, because I do think that it is something that would be considerate to let people know. We tried to leave the place neat and leave everything the way you’d like it. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! This is a beautiful property. Thank you again for a relaxing vacation!

Great place for our family of 29. Plenty of room to eat and hang out. Firepit was a hit with the kids. Had a minor maintenance issue and was fixed in 2 hours. Deck was perfect for corn hole/ does need to be repainted. Really great stay!

This house was great for our group retreat with coworkers (13 people). It has beautiful views, was clean, nice open spaces for everyone to sit together for meals and have discussions, and a large fire pit with seating. Drawbacks were that that the nearest water access for swimming was a bit far (30 minutes), yard was on the smaller side, the kitchen was not that well stocked so there were many items we expected to have but did not, like a sponge, salt, basic spices, cork screw, food storage containers, plastic wrap, etc. But overall we had a positive experience and enjoyed our time here.

The house is beautiful! We loved the view from the large windows and deck, the large kitchen, and spacious rooms. Very clean and well-kept. My group of 15 was able to sleep comfortably ( I personally wouldn’t add many additional people beyond this).

Was wonderful; the property is very neat & clean & great location for outdoor activities. The only thing I dislike is condition of the road (Rocky Bluff Lane is nit wide enough to pass through for other direction.
