Located within a 5 minute drive to Sky Lakes Medical Center, OIT and the historic downtown Klamath Falls scene!brbrThis is a compact 2 bedroom one bath older home that has been nearly completely renovated! The bedrooms are small and quaint, which is why there are full size beds; to maximize space!brbrGuests will have full access to the home, including the long driveway and outdoor patio space.brbrThere is plenty of space to park your boat`s, RV`s or big trucks.brbrThe home is located in a residential neighborhood within close proximity to the train track. brbrTrains traveling along the Portland Street Crossing are no longer required to sound their horns except when safety requires it. This means train noise will not be as evident (Particularly honking of the horns. ) You may still hear the train going by on the tracks, but with the new Quiet Zone, this should reduce train noise significantly! We will continue to provide white noise machines and ear plugs in the home to help mitigate and reduce the sound of the trains for light sleepers. brbrHowever, this can make it fun to sit on the front porch and watch the train go by with the kids! brbrThe Stardust Cottage is a 5 minute drive to downtown Klamath Falls, Sky Lakes and OIT or 15 minute walk. There is not much to do within walking distance, but plenty within driving. brbrThe homes on the street are eclectic with some neighbors taking great care of their yards, and others not so much. This is generally the flavor throughout Klamath Falls. You may see or hear street traffic, especially since the local high school is right down the street.brbr10- 15 minute walk downtown( Farmers market, night life, shopping and restaurants.)brbr5 minute drive to plenty of hiking trails at Moore Park.brbr46 minute drive to Crater Lake National Park (Please note, shuttle transportation is limited and seasonal)brbr51 minute drive to Lava Bed National Monumentbrbr5 minute drive/25 minute walk to the AMTRACK stationbrbr5 minute drive to OIT and Sky Lakes Medical Centerbrbr- You can adjust and tilt the T.V in any direction!brbr-Note, there is not a dishwasher or garbage disposal on site. brbr- The home is located next to a train track and noise will be evident. Please be respectful of our neighbors. Guests are not allowed to book on behalf of another party, unless it`s on behalf of an approved company. Extra guests not listed in the booking need to be approved by host before entering the home. Overnight visitors can be coordinated for an extra fee. brbr-The trash bins are located outside to the right of the house, along the driveway. There is a recycling bin (black lid) and trash bin (Green lid.) Trash is picked up every Tuesday. br-For safety and insurance purposes, charging electric vehicles (EVs) on the property is strictly prohibited. Our cozy home is the perfect blend of modern comfort and convenience, ensuring an unforgettable stay in the heart of Klamath Falls. brbrDowntown Klamath Falls` restaurants, bars, museums, and shops are less than a mile away!brbrWe worked hard to create this beautiful, high quality resting place and look forward to sharing it with you!brbrThe homes on the street are eclectic with some neighbors taking great care of their yards, and others not so much. This means some of the neighbors do not take pride of ownership in their homes. You may notice their yards are messy. The property is located directly to the right of a commercial establishment. This has been off putting to some guests. Despite the condition of the neighbors yards, this is a safe neighborhood. Unfortunately the well on this home failed and the estimate was about $35,000 to put in a new well. Totally not feasible. But it is a lovely area to walk thru. Head up the hill about 3 blocks and there are large parks all the way up and down Pacific Terrace. brbrClose to Downtown and lots of fun - Martini Bar, Creamery (Brew Pub), Irish Pub, and a lot of Restaurants. Plus the Hospital and College are not far away! Close to Klamath Lake, walking trails, Klamath Yacht Club and a Golf Course as well. Ross Ragland Theater is about 10 blocks down the street - catch a play or watch a musical!brbrGetting Around:brThe bus stops up about two blocks or you can walk easily downtown and just wander down main street. There are several museums on Main Streets and a few Antique shops as well. Just let me know what you are looking to do and I can help you with your options. If you need more beds - the other side of this Townhouse is also an Airbnb and I have another larger home down the street as well. The interior space of this home is not shared. And usually only one side or the other is rented so super quiet which is why I have this listed as a house. I am only a few blocks away if you need anything. We offer Dark Roast coffee and two types of Tea (usually Earl Grey & a Mint Tea), plus sugar w/honey and individual creamer containers. There are also the basics - Sea Salt & Pepper grinders, Oil spray for cooking and Dishsoap + Lysol for clean ups. Iron, Ironing Board + Hair Dryer if you need them. Plus there are several fabulous cafes a few blocks away! Leap of Taste has Internet and so does the Daily Bagel!

Codes change with each guest.brbrYou can park on Iowa and walk across the street (only 4 steps). Or park on the corner on Hawthorne and come down the side walk. brbrOR - You can park in back and walk up the lawn to the front door. brbrI recommend parking in front and unloaded and then go up to Hawthorne and turn right at the first driveway. Park a bit back from the garage door as I keep housewares and furniture in that basement.brbrPlease do not leave the exterior doors open for an extended period of time as bugs can enter the home. Most of our doors have a storm &/or screen door and the interior windows in the bedrooms have screens so better to use those instead. brbrThis home was built in the 1930s - so while this home is clean, the bathtub does not have a new porcelain look. It is now a beige color and it has normal stains from years of use. It is clean & sanitary and we use Magic Erasers on it regularly. But please do not expect it to be pearly white. brbrPlease also note that we ask all guests to keep their areas of use free & clear of ice and snow. There is a new cafe in the old Rockwood Building (historical site with obsidion in the walls) just down there street and the Waffel Hut is one of my favoritre places to eat. At the end of Biehn Street is a great taco place with $1.50 tacos - I eat there a lot as well. If you head down to Main Street - Leap of Taste has Internet and so does the Daily Bagel!

While it is not small enough to be considered a tiny home - it will be too tight for 3 adults. Two adults and a child would be fine. brbrThe couch has a chaise built in and would sleep a smaller child rather well. A pack n play on property. Living room, formal dining room and family room with a brick and stone gas fireplace. Master bedroom has separate shower and a jetted tub with a little balcony to sit on and have coffee. The large kitchen features abundant counter space and pantry, eating bar that serves the family room. The piano and a guitar is for your use. Yard and paver patio is great for BBQ's; BBQ is natural gas supplied from house. A beautiful, peaceful rock garden with a pond and waterfall, and of course Koi and Goldfish enhance the outdoor atmosphere. 2 Corn Hole Boards are available. Located 42 miles from Crater Lake National Park to the North and the same distance from Lava Beds National Monument to the South. There is not much to do within walking distance, except visit the local mini-mart, but plenty within driving. The homes on the street are eclectic with some neighbors taking great care of their yards, and others not so much. The neighbor to the left of the home generally has an unkept yard including high grass, weeds and miscellaneous children`s toys.brbrThe new bike lane is down the street.brbr10- 15 minute walk downtown( Farmers market, night life, shopping and restaurants.) brbr5 minute drive to plenty of hiking trails at Moore Park.brbr46 minute drive to Crater Lake National Park (Please note, shuttle transportation is limited and seasonal) brbr51 minute drive to Lava Bed National Monumentbrbr5 minute drive/25 minute walk to the AMTRACK stationbrbr- The mini-split is located on the wall in the living room. This is the sole unit for the entire home. Despite this, it does well cooling and heating the two bedrooms as the house is small at 780 square feet. brbr-Pets are not allowed on furniture and owner is expected to clean pet droppings. Additional fees will be charged if there is damage caused by the pet. brbr-The home was built in the 1920`s, walls are thin. You may notice faint sounds from the railroad track or the occasional neighborhood dog barking.
