"Welcome to a Family and Pet-Friendly Retreat on Sunset Beach's West End!brbrDiscover one of the oldest homes on the island, an inviting and budget-friendly rustic cottage nestled in the heart of Sunset Beach, NC's popular west end. This charming home, situated mid-block, offers a cozy living area and a dining room that comfortably accommodates six adult guests. Adjacent to the kitchen, you'll find a four-seat breakfast bar and an additional dining area. For entertainment, there's a TV and DVD player in the living room, as well as another TV in one of the bedrooms.brbrThe house boasts a total of four bedrooms, each connected to a Jack and Jill bathroom. Two of the bedrooms feature Queen-beds, while the other two offer a Double bed and a twin bed, making it ideal for two young families sharing the space. If you prefer outdoor relaxation, you can sip your morning coffee on the front porch or lounge on the side deck in the afternoon. Don't forget your pet, as they can also enjoy the view from either porch. Ample parking space for up to four vehicles is available, and kids will love the table and chairs beneth the house for snacks or games, as well as the concrete pad for their chalk artwork. An outdoor shower and hose are provided for rinsing off sand and sunscreen.brbrPlease note that a cleaning fee applies to each stay, and you have the option to bring your pet along to share our home. We offer sheets and bath towels as an option, or you can bring your own. Just let us know your preference.brbrOnce you cross the bridge to our quaint barrier island, leave behind the demands of work and daily routines. Enjoy our expansive beach with its gentle south-facing slope and calm waves. Explore the island by bike or take a leisurely stroll westward to the Kindred Spirit on Bird Island Preserve, where you can share your thoughts in the notebooks found in the mailbox. Discover the island's charming shops, pier, and educational turtle nest talks.brbrClose to your home base, you can savor weekly summer concerts in front of the Ingram Planetarium and explore the shops and restaurants at High Market.
