One is a Ring doorbell on the front entry. Pressing the button will chime inside the house, but it also alerts the owners via the Ring app. We generally ignore those alerts as nine times out of ten it's a food delivery person. If we receive a second alert, we will often respond or at least see what's going on. The second camera is located in the garage entry and faces the driveway. We use it to monitor that service personnel (cleaners, pool guy, lawn guy...) visit the house on schedule. Rest assured, we never spy on guests. Mermaid's Dream encompasses a reversed house plan which is very common to many homes along the Outer Banks. This simply means that the living area, ie, kitchen, dining, and living room are located on the highest level.brbrOur second floor level of Mermaid's Dream includes a very large living area (great for entertaining) with flat-screen TV and DVD player. A large sectional couch and two chairs face the two 8' sliders for a magnificent view of the ocean.
