Walk out onto the deck to take in the mountain sunsets and watch the horses graze in the pasture. After a day of fun in downtown Asheville, come home to a hot shower and a comfortable bed so you can sit out on the porch the next morning feeling refreshed and ready to explore more of this beautiful mountain town. We are located 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, 40 minutes from the airport, and 30 minutes from the historic Biltmore Estate. This town is loaded with outdoor activities and we are less than an hour from some of the top rated mountain biking trails in the country. Want to go skiing, snowboarding or snow tubing We are a 50 minute drive to Cataloochee Ski Area and 45 minutes to the slopes at Hatley Pointe, the “Aspen of the Appalachians”.You can go hiking, biking, horseback riding, enjoy water sports on the French Broad River, or just stroll down and enjoy the many historic areas that Asheville has to offer. The beer scene here is AMAZING and consists of an array of micro breweries, full scale breweries, cideries, and fine dining. Being voted Beer City USA 4 years in a row, Asheville takes extreme pride in being home to over 20 local craft breweries. brLucky 4 Farm is also home to our resident horses: Annali, Teton, Sassi, and Roscoe! While you are visiting the farm, we encourage you to say hello to the animals while remaining outside of their fences, and enjoy the magic of this beautiful 35 acres! brThere is plenty of space for your mountain bikes in the horse area of the barn, and room to wash them off and clean them up after your ride. The property is GATED and secure, so no need to worry about theft. You will receive your own private code to open the gate. brWe will also consider stall rental for anyone wanting to bring their horses…..please ask me about this!brWe live in our house on the property and are available if needed.brbrPlease note: this is a second story home and you will need to enter through the tack room and climb a flight of stairs to access it!brbrWELL BEHAVED and COMPLETELY potty-trained dogs are welcome! We can provide a crate if needed and we can also walk your dog if you plan to be gone for an extended period of time. Although not ADA, the basement apartment is good for guests with some disability as the access is level and enters directly into the apartment. The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The upper level has a memory foam king bed and full bath en suite. The main level has a bedroom with a memory foam queen bed and a full bath just outside the bedroom that is also accessible to the living area. The basement level has a memory foam queen bed and full bath en suite. There are 2 sleeper sofas in the home in addition to the beds. One is a queen on the main level. The other is a queen in the living area of the basement level. The basement level is a studio style apartment with its own kitchen and living area. Please note that the basement bedroom is open studio style to the rest of the apartment. The Cottage is situated on 1 acre with access to an additional 4 acre field with small stream, pond, firepit area and garden. Excellent play area for humans and pets. Truly beautiful property. Located in the quiet mountain community of Sandy Mush, 25 minutes from Downtown Asheville. The home is located on 80 acres of beautiful pasture and wooded land for you to explore and enjoy. Meet our resident animals (donkey, goats, sheep, peacock, chickens and kittiesbrbrThis Historic home is a very special place. Rich with history from the Smoky Mountains. The remodel was meticulously done with tremendous effort to maintain the look and feel of the original home with an added cool updated vibe. All the mill work on the exterior is original done locally in the 1890's The decor was chosen with great care to give each lucky person who spends time there an experience they will treasure forever. The home was updated using the original barn wood from the properties old tobacco barn, original hand cut beams & original ship lap walls. The double sided fire place is original and was restored adding warmth and coziness to the living space. There is a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances including a gas stove, dishwasher and service for 8 guests. Coffee and Tea station is provided The second level has all original flooring with two custom metal beds and a custom built armoire with antique gothic doors. Blackout window treatments are installed in each bedroom. The bedroom with the 2 double beds can be converted to a King size upon request. There is full bathroom on each floor and a claw foot tub on the second level for relaxing after a long day exploring the mountains. Central A/C - Heat will keep you comfortable all year long .brbrThe Parlor Room with fireplace is a nice place to get away with a book or to play a game of chess/checkers on the game table. There is a small desk where you will find information about the area and attractions. brbrThere are also 4 Bose blue tooth speakers with Sound Link features. The house is equipped with high speed Fiber/Broadband internet and TV (Dish). Cellular phone signals are spotty in the area depending on your provider but Wifi calling works well.brbrCome and stay in this amazing historic home to unwind and disconnect from everything.
