Stayed May 15, 2026The depiction of this property in the pictures is entirely accurate. It is a nice place. I was excited to find this unit last minute because my extended family had another rental up the street and I needed a place to stay. My major issue was that the unit sits over a garage and the entire unit was filled with fumes of gasoline and engine smells when I checked in. What made this more difficult was that NONE of the windows in the home could be opened for outside air. There were storm windows in place that could not be slid open and no screens. I will say, that I was able to get a full refund as I wasn't able to stay in the unit without feeling ill, so I greatly appreciate how all of that was handled.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025Living quarters above a two door garage next to the owner’s main house. It sounds iffy but it’s not. It’s very quiet and peaceful and only 15 minutes from downtown. It has been remodeled and very clean. Sit on the deck and watch donkeys, sheep, chickens, turkeys and geese in the small abutting pasture. Very friendly owner who only talked to us when we approached him while he was working in his yard.

Stayed Aug 29, 2024This is a special spot for anyone visiting Asheville or the surrounding area. Super clean, quaint, spacious, and quiet. I’ve already sent it to my friends and fam! Came with a friend but would also be great for a small family or 2-3 friends. A really easy commute into the city also! We got to say hi to the donkeys as well! Thankyou!

Stayed Dec 26, 2023We loved it! The location is about 20 minutes from Asheville on a quiet hilltop. There is a neighbor, but we tried to stay out of their space. The view of the mountains from the living room was lovely. I absolutely adored the decorations in the home! Artwork, furniture choices, lighting... I thought it all was delightful! It was clean, warm (we stayed in December), bright, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed space to play games, watch movies, and prepare food for eating. After the Christmas hustle and bustle it was perfect for relaxing and recharging!
