The bed hangs from jute-wrapped bars attached to a large wooden fish on the ceiling, with fish embeded into the gorgeous woods, and carved wooden legs. This room is decorated in warm tones, and Butterscotch walls, with tropical accents on the walls and bedcoverings. There is also private access to the wrap-around Deck and Ocean views. The shared bath off the hallway is bright and sunny with Coral walls, colorful ceramic fish lining the main wall and is accentuated with white tiles and copper fixtures.brbrYou'll pass a splendid wooden mermaid on the way to Level Two, via the tropical bamboo-slat staircase. Bedroom #3 is just past the Laundry Room and is the Tiki Room, a bedroom with beach-style written all over it, from the surfboard-themed custom-made quilt on the Queen bed and curtains, to the Hawaiian Tikis and Kukui Nut necklace, and other tropical decorations. It also has a Private Bath. Bedroom #4 is the Master Bedroom. The Master bedroom has beautiful custom-built King head and foot boards designed and crafted by the Home Owner. The room is warm with dark woods, Butterscotch walls, a cozy leather couch, and soft lighting. There is private access to the wrap-around Deck and Ocean views. The Master bathroom is open and light with amazing aqua blue, emerald green and white-flecked tiles throughout. The shower has a Rain-style shower head and is completely open, giving a very spa-feel to it. Bedroom #5 The next Master bedroom also has a King bed, covered in a charming, pink tropical bedding. The quilt is even more lovely surrounded by Bubblegum pink walls and soft accents throughout the room. In the center of the room is a delightful church-peak ceiling, with oak beams and fantastic lighting, and gives the room an ethereal quality. The windows are large and cover the walls, on the Oceanfront side, allowing for incredible Oceanfront views. If you want even better views there is a private door to the spacious Deck. The private bath beautifully accented with deep Coral floor tiles, has a Garden-style, Jacuzzi bathtub, dual-head shower with seating and a Vanity. Waterfront! CShore Beach Home, Tranquility by the Sea, is on the Water, the NC Sound across the street from the Beach. Affectionately called The Wedding Cake House! A Beautiful family home, 3200 sq ft large, and it’s only a few steps to reach the water, directly on the NC intracoastal waterway, Bogue Sound, and a short walk across the street from the white, powder sands of Emerald Isle NC beach, on the Atlantic Ocean. It’s about an hours drive to Ellis Airport OAJ, in Jacksonville NC or EWN Carolina Coastal Regional Airport in New Bern, NC. There are four lovely bedrooms, master bedroom downstairs on the main level, two and a half bathrooms and an outside shower, with large closets, laundry room, storage and pantry spaces. A Charcoal grill is available, beach supplies room, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, plus two picnic tables, flat screen tv, many games and lots of reading materials for all ages. The Third story cupola enjoys a complete wrap around porch with awe inspiring sound and ocean views and a comfy daybed. This is a birders haven as the pier is on pilings and is a sanctuary for an abundant variety of sea loving feathered friends, especially pelicans. The Pier is not repaired or able to be walked on. The Main level has a complete, on all 4 sides of the house, wrap around porch and amazing sunsets and sunrises with comfortable captains chairs, rocking chairs and a picnic table facing the Sound. The Kitchen boasts a cozy breakfast nook with seating for four plus 6 bar stool seating around the central island counter. There are two Picnic tables and charcoal grill onsite. One picnic table is on the porch and one is on the ground level beside the garage. There are beach toys, chairs and beach umbrellas available to use. The Laundry room is available on the ground level by the carport. Please do not lock the laundry or beach supplies doors, keep them unlocked even when you leave. Four Lovely bedrooms, with the Master Bedroom and bath is downstairs on the main level. There are ample living areas which invite rest, refreshment, recuperation, fellowship, study, writing, painting and reflection. Wonderful family recreational activities, beaches, swimming, surfing, golf, tennis, pickleball, fishing at the sound, ocean and on the Bogue pier, putt-putt golf, shopping, seafood, gym, EI Rec Center, bike rentals, movie theaters and restaurants are nearby in an easy distance in both directions from the house. Emerald Isle Sea Turtle nesting and watching is another favorite beach activity. Walking, jogging, sunbathing and fishing on the beach, and at the sound, a water sports facility is a short jaunt away. There is a sidewalk that runs to Indian Beach and all the way into the town of Emerald Isle. The house is Close to both Atlantic Beach and the Town of Emerald Isle. We have a Well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The house is on the sound side with direct access, a few steps from the house to the Sound for bird, fish jumping and dolphin viewing. Clamming and crabbing in the Sound, behind the house, is fun if you bring your own equipment. There’s swimming, floating, jet skiing, boating, fishing and endless water activities. To access the beach is a short walk across the street, to the right is the public beach access at the 3rd Street Park Public Access with with wheelchair ramp, picnic table and car parking. To the left is the Second Street Public Access walkway to the beach. We enjoy viewing and hearing the ocean from the main porch and 3rd story cupola, both with full wrap around porches. The towns of Atlantic Beach, Emerald Isle, Morehead City, Beaufort and Swansboro are close by. There is also Emerald Path, NC Aquarium, Beaufort, Wild Horses of Shackleford Banks, Cape Lookout National Seashore, Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Tryon Palace, churches of many denominations, local festivals, free concerts, local produce & farm stalls and much more nearby CShore Beach Home, Tranquillity by the Sea.
