Once in Cashiers the drive to the landing is very easy with no winding roads. The 5-minute, boat ride is what makes this community unlike any neighborhood or club in the mountains. No cars, no traffic, just walking and nature on Buck Knob. The home was custom designed for mountain/lake life. The large great room arches support the beautiful cathedral ceiling. It is a stunning architectural element not to be missed. The spacious open layout allows for easy flow between indoor and outdoor living, with two indoor and one outdoor fireplace. The master bedroom on the first floor is spacious, with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Two guest bedrooms upstairs offer guests privacy and plenty of room to enjoy their mountain experience. On the lower level, the bonus room is set up as the ultimate game room. A pool table, shuffleboard table, dartboard and huge television all create a recreational dream for the kids or the kids-at-heart. Two additional sunny guest suites downstairs provide more privacy for your friends & family. The outside of this home is as beautiful as the inside. There is a walking trail that circles the island.brbrWe can provide you with a contact to directly rent a pontoon from. You are welcome to bring your own boat as well. The lake offers day cruises, tubing, waterskiing, fishing, or just hanging out at one of the three waterfalls feeding the lake. The en suite master bedroom has a floating bed in the center of the room to maximize the breathtaking lake views. Glenside at the Point is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom lake front home with a private dock and plenty of outdoor space. A beautiful staircase and chandelier invite you inside the home. The living room features a stone gas fireplace and a TV. The dining table has seating for 6 people and an additional seating for 4 people at the kitchen bar. The newly renovated kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances and a drip coffee maker. Sliding glass door leads out to the large deck with wonderful views of Lake Glenville; with a covered outdoor dining area and an uncovered area with seating. There is also an office and a half bathroom on the main level. Upstairs, the large master suite has a king bed, TV, private deck, sitting area with lake view, a coffee nook with a Keurig, double sinks, and a bathroom with a walk in shower and free standing tub. The upstairs guest room has a king bed and uses a hall bathroom with a walk in shower and dual sinks. On the lower level, the guest room has a queen bed and a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The lower level bathroom has a walk in shower. A second living area with a wood burning stove, TV, and ping pong table, gives access to the lower deck and fire pit. A stairway leads down to the private dock. This home has DirecTV and WiFi. brbrThis home is located in The Point - A quiet residential neighborhood with a number of year-round residents. We ask that that you observe a Good Neighbor Policy by:brbrNot shooting any type of fireworks. Fireworks are not permitted.brObserving a No-Wake zone with the coves and near the docks – This helps protect anyone swimming, the docks, and seawalls.brObserving quiet time after 10:00 PM.brLimiting parking to the driveway area (Between 2 - 4 vehicles depending on size).
