Our cabin, Overlook, rests on the main channel of Lake Wylie, yet is tucked inside a sheltered bay. It is the closest proximity to Charlotte of any lake in NC. In 20 minutes you can be downtown and 15 minutes to the airport! There are fabulous restaurants, shopping and other amenities within a 10 minute drive. We have a fully stocked kitchen with all the cookware wine glasses etc that you will need for your stay. The 180 degree lake view oriented due west provides some exquisitely dramatic sunsets. You can relax and unwind while you watch amazing scenery from the patio, the covered porch, hammock or dock. brbrThe house has tongue and grove wood paneling throughout, even on the ceilings of the den and dining room. It has recently been updated, but the original lake cabin feel has been kept. It has the feel of privacy and seclusion. brbrYou will love the beach! It is perfect for the kids to run around and play in the sand while you watch from the patio or dock. The bay offers a safe swimming environment, being indented into the shoreline, feel comfortable and confident that your loved ones are safe from boat traffic.
