Many people hike around the mountain, following the old logging road at the top of the property. If you head up there and go right (or west), there`s a giant rock outcropping with an underground stream.brThe cabin is on 7 acres in a quiet community of other cabins and easily accessed by car and just a few minutes away from shops & restaurants.brbr**As with most properties in the area, vehicles driving to this cabin need 4WD, good tires and sometimes chains in the winter months during snow fall/icy conditions. TRIP INSURANCE is highly recommended in winter months. brMany full time residents occupy the surrounding cabins and the one lane gravel road up to the cabin is easily navigable in good/non-icy weather. Chains can usually be purchased in the area though it’s recommended to buy them before coming. In icy conditions, please put them on before driving up our road.br**Refunds will not be given and dates will not be moved for weather related road conditions or utility outages. Due to the unpredictability of weather in the mountains, please buy trip insurance. We don’t want anyone to lose money.br**Pet fee is $85. Emotional support animals will be accommodated, though a pet fee still applies.br**Credit card fees will be deducted from any refunds for cancelled dates.
