Located in a small beach community between Southampton and Sag Harbor, it is surrounded by water - from the dining room you look right out onto a serene lake, from the first floor you can see both lake and the beach. Who needs a pool when you are only a few steps away from a well-maintained bay beach with marked swim area and a swim platform and also an easy 10-15 minute drive away from all the major beaches from Southampton to Watermill and Sag Harbor. brbrChances are - once you are there, you won't want to leave this stylish, cozy, breezy, and sun-filled beach cottage. It has its own dock with hammock and outdoor patio, a fenced-in yard (that keeps dogs and children at bay). The house's main floor is renovated with new kitchen cabinets, floors and shower/bathroom. The house features an open layout with 3 bedrooms (king, queen and a convertible full sofa sleeper in the TV room/den) and 3 additional mini-bedrooms (separated by sliding doors with 2 twin size beds ideal for younger ages). It also has a private outdoor shower (divine at night!) and lots of beach accessories including a standup paddle board.brbrWe want to make your stay as pleasant as possible and are offering WIFI so you can stream your favorite channels, a color printer and a flat-screen TV in addition to AC, washer/dryer and an outdoor Webber grill. We provide linens and towels. The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of up-to-date kitchen tools and gadgets like a blender, juicer, toaster, etc.brbrOpen to short-term and long-term renters. New furniture has been purchased throughout the house as part of the renovation project. Guests can chose to dine at the spacious new island in the kitchen, the charming dining area, or while enjoying the beautiful setting outside on the deck overlooking the pool.brbrThe house is located on top of a hill providing ample parking and a peaceful stay. The eat-in kitchen was gutted and completely re-done with Silestone countertops and stainless steel appliances. It includes a peninsula that doubles as a breakfast bar for 3-4. The kitchen also has an eat-in nook 6-person table.brbrYou'll have access to many amenities! We have 3 bicycles, a beach umbrellas and 6 chairs. Additionally, our expansive deck has a large propane BBQ grill and two outdoor tables with chairs with a combined seating for 12.brbrOur heated saltwater pool is a dream to enjoy for hours on end!brbrThere are chaise lounges by the pool along with a side table. We also have some exercise equipment for those looking to keep in shape on top of all the biking and running, including a treadmill in the basement and pool workout floats.brbrGuests are eligible to purchase the coveted Village Beach pass. It is purchased from the Village of Southampton for $350. It allows parking at beaches not accessible by the non-Village publicbrbrLocation:brWe are located south of the highway in Southampton Village. Main Street with the movie theater, grade A shopping, and even better dining is only a 10 minute bicycle ride or short drive away.brbrThe beaches are even closer. At just 2 miles flat to the nearest beach, you can ride a bike or take a jog and be on Southampton's beautiful sunny shore.brbrGetting Around:brSouthampton is not known for its public transportation. However, the home has parking for up to 5 or 6 cars and we are located in a very convenient area that allows multiple routes into town or to the village beaches. Meaning, we are well connected to a number of inside roads that will help you avoid busy weekend traffic.
