The upper story is the heart of the home, featuring a spacious living room/dining area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom, all adorned with chic coastal decor to complement the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. The space is framed by a massive sliding glass door that offers sights and sounds of the peaceful lakefront with a remarkable panoramic view and access to an elevated deck. All windows facing our neighbors are covered with privacy film, so rest assured that your privacy is protected without sacrificing any of the unit’s marvelous views.brbrWe make the most of our space in this unit, with space-saving features everywhere you look, from the Murphy bed in the primary to the sliding barn doors, swing out and fold down tables, and expandable dining table. This does not mean that your unit is in a basement. LoZa House is built into a cliff so position of doors can be misleading. You access the 1st floor of your unit through this door, and can access the upper floor by the sprial staircase inside the unit.brbrGetting Around:brA car or bike is the best solution for getting around. However, there is one public bus that runs from the Post Office in Ausable Forks to the Government building in downtown Plattsburgh. It runs between 7 am and 7 pm with 4 stops per day. (Keesville/Ausable bus line)brbrOther Things to Note:brPLEASE NOTE: br- The whole house is NOT for rent, only the Coastal Unit. br- The Skydeck on the roof is reserved for those staying in the Skydeck guests only.br- We (2 kids, dog and husband and I) live in the main house Year-round – expect to see/hear us occasionally. br- The neighbors do have dogs or can have visitors with dogs. Again, toys can be arranged with prior notice.]brbrbrNOTE: There are three units located LoZa House: the Adirondack Screened-in Porch unit with its east facing views of lake and mountains, and is located at the opposite end of the house from the other two units. The Adirondack Skydeck with its sunroom (north-west facing) and Skydeck with its geodesic dome (This is only available to the Adirondack Skydeck Unit). Finally the Coastal design unit which also has north-west views of the lake. Each of these units, can sleep up to 6 people.brbrbrWe have a young golden doodle who will love you to death [if you let him], and two young children of early grade school age. We live on the upper two floors above the Adirondack floor. Like we ask you to do, our dog is always on a leash. If there is a dog loose on the property please let us know and we will bring the dog back to the neighbor's house - some neighbors have pets that find it difficult to remain on their own land [we are working on resolving this and it is getting better].brbrNOTE: Services available in English, Français, and Italiano.brbrGuest Access:brGuests access the Adirondack Room via the screened in Porch. Access to this area is obtained by walking down the lawn from the driveway and past the hot tub. Alternatively, cross the stone patio in front of the main door for the house and descend the stairs to the hot tub and the door is there. You will have access to all the grounds and the stone patio containing the BBQ.brbrThe Neighborhood:brThe house is located at the end of a dead-end branch of dead-end road. As such the traffic is minimal to none. The neighbors are very friendly and likely to wave as you pass. brbrWe are associated with the community of Cliff Haven This community is a 2 min drive from the house, or about 15-20 min walk. These streets are quiet, a great place for children to ride their bikes or again for taking walks. brbrA little farther down the road, by car, you will find a grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, pharmacy and banks.
