Stayed Oct 2, 2025We were in the area for a wedding and the Barnes’ home was perfect for our family. Lots of room to spread out, immaculately clean, beautiful pool area, short walk down to the small beach area. Close to lots of wineries and adorable village of Mattituck. The communication with the hosts was great and they were extremely responsive. A great place to stay if you are visiting the area!

Stayed Sep 14, 2025Wonderful home. Loved hanging by the pool after a day of biking and wine tasting. We also enjoyed having dinner on the deck and then playing games at the dining room table before heading to bed exhausted. The cottage was great for the third couple. We would love to come back again.

Stayed Apr 12, 2025We had a really nice time at the Barnes' property. There are two bedrooms with two bathrooms in the main house. Just as a warning, the bed in one of the rooms is extremely high, but there is a step stool for getting in and out. The kitchen is well stocked. The second bathroom is off the kitchen. We had everything we needed and the owners were very responsive. My son stayed in the cottage with a space heater, but it was really too cold for this time of year. He could have used a few more blankets. My only minor complaint was there were no bars of soap for showering anywhere. Bring your own.Otherwise, it was a perfect stay and we will probably stay there again for the next family event.
