Enjoy Honeoye Lake in this recently remodeled year-round home with nearly 1800 sf of living space. This three bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home has many oversized windows which offer postcard views of the surrounding Bristol Hills. The level yard and large deck open to over 50 ft of lakefront. Take advantage of the private dock for sunbathing or fishing. There is a grassy area for yard games, a fire pit for night-time marshmallow roasting, a front and back deck for outdoor entertaining and much more. This property truly has it all.

Sit and enjoy all the water front activities from the large deck. The expansive seasonal dock allows for plenty of space to load and unload passengers from boats, kayaks, canoes or jet skis. The shallow water and ability to walk in from the shore makes this a great property for families.

The bright, open floor plan includes two living areas. The upstairs area has a living room, three bedrooms, a powder room and a loft area. Downstairs you will find a renovated kitchen with Corian countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and new flooring throughout. There is also a remodeled full bathroom and living area with a sleeper sofa on the lower level. Sliding glass doors lead to the large deck with gas grill and covered seating.

A short drive by car or boat will bring you to the Sandy Bottom Park, where you can enjoy various amenities, including a large pavilion, picnic area, a sandy beach (with life guard), beach volleyball and large grassy play areas for the children.

Honeoye Lake is one of the prime fishing locations in the Finger Lakes Region due to it's pond-like ecosystem. The shore of the lake has a high density of recreation homes, many with docks for boats and other recreation vehicles. In warmer weather, fishing is considered exceptional. Walleye, bass, perch and bluegill are some of the recreational and tournament fish that can be found. The water is clear and clean; ideal for boating, tubing, water skiing, wake boarding, and other water sports. The Ring of Fire tradition is annually celebrated Labor Day weekend by area residents. Flares are lit around the lakeshore to signify summer's end and to recognize the wealth of the Finger Lakes harvest.

In the winter, the water freezes quickly and maintains its solid surface throughout the season. It is a prime location for ice fishing, skating, and ice boating.

The Honeoye Lake area is filled with artists, musicians, farmers, skilled laborers, quaint store fronts, retirees and families who contribute to this diverse community spirit of creativity, history, and a home town feel. Like the Native Americans who lived and worked the land here over two hundred years ago, the people of the community who live and work here today feel blessed with the natural beauty surrounding them.

Exterior deck, chairs and table needed some attention (cleaning). Beautiful view!Dock wobbly if you’re a senior.Interior stairs were OK.Shower downstairs away from bedrooms was a bit of a challenge…very small and tight.Bedrooms excellent, plenty of storage, king bed very comfortable.Small microwave…rest of appliances great. No critters!! All things considered, a very nice property. We had a wonderful time.

Everything went great. The house was exactly as advertised and the entire group was more than pleased. We would be more than happy to return. Kevin, the host was more than helpful with a situation that was embarrassing for us.. we locked ourselves out of the house.. within the first 10 minutes of arrival. He answered our call quickly and took care of the issue. We have stayed all over this lake over a 20 year tradition in about 7 different property rentals on memorial weekend fishing trips and this was one of the best houses.

Our second year enjoying a bit of heaven by Honeoye Lake! Nine of us slept comfortably in this lakefront home. If you like perfect mornings-- relax on the deck with fresh coffee, watch the sunrise over the lake, drop in a line to see if the fish are biting...If you like a day full of sun and fun--rent a pontoon boat at the local marina just across the lake, use it to go tubing; or rent kayaks and paddle around the lake, exploring it up close. If you do venture away from the lakehouse (I like it so much, I didn't want to!) Watkins Glen is an hour drive--we only stayed the morning and it was long enough to hike up and take in the stunning gorge and numerous waterfalls. Some in my group went on trips to wineries, breweries and ice cream shops, at most a 20 minute ride away. A closer option is the Twisted Rail brewery-- it's next door to the marina and has exceptionally good beer and simple pub grub. The house is so comfortable and has such a great lakefront view, you really can have a perfect day without going anywhere. It is so peaceful. The kitchen has a nice layout, too, making group meals a breeze. We ended most evenings by the firepit. There are plenty of chairs, firewood, and that lakeside viewI should also mention that the owner is very responsive to inquiries. His replies are always prompt and helpful. I have been there twice and can only say positive things about my experience with this lakehouse rental. Enthusiastic 5 stars

The cottage was clean and had enough room for my family and I. Lots of fans and air conditioning to make the cottage comfortable. Areas to sit in the sun or shade any time of day and a nice ladder off the dock to get in and out of the water. Large kitchen area to make food and relax. The shower is just a stall and very small but we made it work. A couple mattresses weren't that comfortable but the king size bed was great! Wasn't able to watch any streaming shows (Netflix, etc.) but the TV had On Demand shows and live TV in the kitchen. Great week with the family and will definitely return!

We really enjoyed the long Memorial Day weekend at the cottage. The waterfront was great to dock our boat for easy access. The house is well stocked and fit our family of eight comfortably. Communication with the owner was very fast for the pre-trip questions we had. Would recommend!

The house has an awesome view of Honeoye Lake, both in the morning and evening. The mattress on the king size bed is awesome. We didn't use the other bedrooms. The host was quick to answer messages and provided us with suggestions as to restaurants and activities. Would stay in the house again.

Great house. Great location. Great host and communication. Check-in was a breeze. Fishing was so-so, but thats our issue and lack of knowledge of the lake. Either way, the purpose was to celebrate our fathers bday and spend time together. Thats a big check mark. Would stay again.
