Q: What about Heat and Cooling A. There are several heat sources. Wood Stove on main level. Kerosene wall heaters on main and lower levels are highly efficient and a primary heat source. And electric baseboard is everywhere throughout house. For Cooling, as with most homes in the Valley, ours was not constructed with a/c. We have portable A/C units in the Master Bedroom, top floor queen bunkroom, and the Queen bedroom (First floor). These work awesome. There are fans galore for use elsewhere in the home.brbr5. Q: Why both insurance + damage deposit A: The insurance is to help cover accidents, and the deposit (and Agreement) incentivizes good, conscientious behavior.
