A killer wrap around deck allows you to enjoy the epic down valley sunsets and welcoming beds will ensure a quality night's sleep so you can get after it the next day...or sleep in until you feel like getting up.brPrivacy and quiet location Yes, located at the end of a private ranch road your neighbors will be deer, elk, coyotes, prairie dogs, sandhill cranes and other birds and the occasional bear.brRoom to stretch your legs Yes, located on 35 acres you'll have grassy flats, sage and wildflower benches, pine and juniper groves, and gorgeous cottonwood stands...and the river. If you want to do more exploring, once you're within the high water mark of the Blackfoot's banks, legally you can wander for miles up or down the river bed. brIs the river safe Yes, but always exercise caution with water. The river is extremely accessible to adults and children provided children are accompanied by an adult. The river is braided out beautifully in this stretch and it makes for wonderful fishing spots, rock collecting, making mud pies, skipping stones, or just lounging in the sun listening to the current and cottonwood leaves. Please note, the river can go subsurface, that is, it runs dry. In a typical year, this happens towards the end of August and is totally out of anyone's control other than Mother Nature. brHow far from town As secluded and private as the property is, the town of Lincoln is only about a 7 minute drive away on a well maintained road. You might see elk, deer, cranes, geese and maybe a bear on your way to town.brBears Yes. This section of the Blackfoot Valley in and around the Lincoln area is well known for its healthy grizzly bear population. While an encounter is unlikely, please bring bear spray if you go down to the river or for a hike in the nearby national forest.

Sleep peaceful in a queen size bed in a newer, clean 22 foot Tipi with all the bedding included. Comfy chairs inside and outside with a picnic table and firepit, (fire regulations permitting). Enjoy the chirping of the birds and a possible sighting of a deer or two. Inside the Tipi, you will have a few hand towels, wipes, two bottles of drinking water and a lantern. A few steps away, you will find a brand new bathroom with a shower. At this time, electricity is not available in the tipis. The Tipis are seasonal and available from May to mid-September. brbrGo fishing on the Blackfoot River or take your ATV and ride to Snowbank Lake. Our local grocery store, restaurants and bars are within walking distance. brDon't miss out on visiting Blackfoot Pathways:Sculpture in the Wild, located about a mile east of us. Fully furnished kitchen. This is a small house and not good for hosting large family gatherings. Example it is too small to host Thanksgiving or Christmas gatherings. It could be used as overflow for a family gathering in town. brbrLarge partially covered porch and outdoor dining that seats 8. Outdoor fire pit, fireplace and BBQ. Two minute walk to downtown Lincoln. Close to fishing, hiking, hunting, creeks, rivers, forests, camping, four wheeling, snowmobiling and cross country skiing in the winter. Home to Blackfoot Pathways: Sculptures in the Wild outdoor artistic and historic sculptures museum. The outdoor museum is open year round and free of charge. It is a hidden gem and well worth a look. brbrRestaurants, coffee shop, small grocery store, and local boutique stores all close by. Most are within 5 minutes or less to walk.
