Lake house on a beautiful all-sports lake. Spider Lake is a 450 acre, 38' deep, spring-fed lake in Grand Traverse County. House sleeps 6; two bedrooms and pull out sofa. Only a short drive to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, professional baseball at the home of the Traverse City Pit Spitters and many other attractions. Chairs are available by the lake to relax or to watch the kids swim in the sandy, shallow, shared swimming area. A large dock with benches is a nice place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the lake wake up as the sun rises over the trees on the opposite shore. If you love to fish, the lake has bass, bluegill, sunfish, crappie, perch, northern pike, and a few cagey old muskie. Fall colors in the foliage are vivid in early to mid-October. The Grand Traverse area is popular for hunting, snow-mobiles and cross-country as well as down-hill skiing during the Fall and Winter months.brThe house is one level with approximately 25 steps leading down to the lake. It is fully furnished home filled with lots of room, including 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and dining area, 2 separate living areas and a kids recreation area. brbrThe home is split between three levels; the main level is home to the master bedroom, a full bathroom, kitchen and dining area, living room and the entrance to the very private deck that overlooks the lake. From the main level you can travel either upstairs or downstairs. Traveling upstairs you will find two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds. Traveling downstairs you will find another large room for relaxing or playing games. There is also another full-size bathroom in the lower level. The lower level also overlooks the lake and has a walk out patio door to the back yard and Bass Lake. brbrThe home has a mixture of cottage feel with gorgeous pine accents coupled with trendy updates. The yard is grass covered, and the property has lots of beautiful landscaping. There is a bonfire pit near the lake. There is ample outdoor seating, and there is a canoe, and six kayaks (4 adult and 2 kid size) are provided for your use.
