Occasionally if there is no one in the cottages, I will allow you the entire parking area.brbrSOUTH HAVEN INFObrSouth Haven is unlike a lot of the other Towns/Cities on Lake Michigan. It is actually ON Lake Michigan. The downtown area with shops and restaurants are great and so many of them give you a view of the water where you can watch the boats go in and out of the river as they head toward the Lake. This is one of my favorite activities...watching the boats from the grassy shore of from a restaurant. Walk down to the beach in a couple of minutes and put your toes in the sand. Or you can walk out on the pier to see the Lighthouse and watch the waves come and boats come in.brNightlife is abundant with several breweries and different types of entertainment. Go to BRT and play a game of Singo (bingo and singing combined...what a hoot) or hit the Michigan theater where 2 people can do a movie, drinks and a popcorn for $20 (when was the last time you saw that!). You can go spend the day at Lake Arvesta Water and sports complex where you can swim, board, play pickle ball, miniature golf...or find some other fun things to do...and the food is good too (especially the pizza!)brbrFOOD & RESTAURANTSbr-Grocery stores. You only have 3 choices here, but they are good ones. We have a Meijer and a Walmart that will have anything you need...all within a quarter mile of each other. There is also an Aldis that is in the same quarter mile. Food, Drink, etc...it is all there.br-Restaurants. A short bike ride takes you to the Kal-Haven trail, or you can rent a golf cart and ride effortlessly down to the main streets of South Haven to experience the unique shopping and dining of downtown. This is the perfect spot to escape the city and experience lakeshore life. brbr brbr brbrReservations include use of the entire house, back patio with grill & outdoor seating, and attached garage. Guests receive access to the Woodland Harbor Marina, the Harbor Club Resort`s clubhouse, community pool, and fire-pits. Boats (speed boats, pontoon boats, dinghy boats, and kayaks), boat slips, golf carts, beach carts, bicycles, and more are all available to guests (for additional rental fees). The Resort`s private streets are perfect for strolling or biking and the Kal-Haven Trail-head is also nearby for those who enjoy outdoor activities. brbr brbrOur Welcome Center Office is staffed and open in the Resort Mon-Sat, 9am-5pm EST. Our cottages are centrally located with access to the Kal-Haven Trail, beaches, the Black River, family activities, dining, shopping, golf courses, wineries, and more!This property is a vacation rental in the Summer (June, July, & August), available for long term rentals of 1-6 months outside of that season. Located 1 mile from downtown South Haven, 1/4 mile from Lake Michigan, easy commute to Holland, Benton Harbor, or Kalamazoo areas! The Harbor Club South Haven Resort offers private streets for walking or biking with pets, children, or the group you are traveling with. A quaint pond and bridge offer a peaceful place to stroll and watch the local wildlife. The Resort is located on preserved wetlands and woodlands on the Black River and includes a gorgeous private marina. brbr brbrCity bus routes and taxis will come into the resort and directly up to the cottage to pick up and drop off guests. Winery tour buses run through the area and several highway entry and exits are within one mile for easy travel. brbr brbrCheck in at 4pm EST. If housekeeping staff is able to prepare the home sooner, we will make every effort to contact guests and allow an early check in. Check in takes place at our Welcome Center Office in the Harbor Club South Haven Resort (330 Ash Street, South Haven MI). At least a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. All towels, linens, paper products, and a starter kit of soaps are included in the cottage rental. Guests receive access to the resort's marina, clubhouse, community pool, and fire pits. The patio is a short walk to one of the community firepits and the new pool and hot tub. brbr brbrThe upper lever of the home has a large primary king suite, two queen guest bedrooms, a twin bunkbed guest room (4 twin beds each with a weight capacity of 400 lbs. making them ideal for adults and children), another centrally located full bath as well as a full laundry room. In the lower level (basement) there is an additional twin bunkbed guest room (4 twin beds each with 400 lb capacity), full bath, a large living room featuring a nearly 15 foot wide modular sectional couch, large smart TV, snack station, and vintage arcade games.
