What we love about this property is the proximity to Lake Michigan. A short walk has you on a beautiful stretch of pristine beach along the clear water of the Big Lake. Our favorite activity is to pack up and spend the day at the beach, enjoying the sunshine and water. The sunsets are spectacular as well. When we've had enough of the beach, and really that never happens ;), we have a hard time deciding whether to go North or South. To the South of us, there is Silver Lake and the sand dunes. Craig's Cruisers is always a good time, and The Frickin' Chicken has really good food. A new fave of ours is The Golden Sands Golf Course and Bucket Bar. Great food and great atmosphere! To the North is Pentwater. We love strolling through the many shops and have not found a bad restaurant yet. Our favorites are The Brown Bear and The Antler Bar. When we are not in the mood to explore we love relaxing on the deck with a cold beverage. Every night is spent around the campfire underneath a glowing canopy of stars.
