It's a perfect location for a big family, multiple families, or a few friends joining together. The kids bunk room is fabulous and can sleep so many that we were all very comfortable. The kitchen is huge and there are a lot of seating areas that even with a big group you don't feel like you're on top of each other. The view is fabulous and the private beach access is awesome. The kids spend hours there daily and it was so nice that they could just walk to it while some adults could stay back in the house to relax. I love that it is at the end of a cul-de-sac so it's very quiet and safe for kids to be outside. It is also barely 10-15 minutes to the town and we loved popping by there for coffee, meals, shopping. It belonged to our grandfather who served in WW2 and is one of our favorite details. brbrDownstairs' main living room has the most cushy, giant sectional you’ll ever meet, and may never want to leave! Inspired by our love of winter & aprés ski, the vintage snow shoes, skis and 1950s & 60s paint-by-number winter scenes on the walls add to the coziness of the room, making it perfect for movie night with Xfinity TV, Netflix, Hulu. If it’s blustery out, squeeze together for a good game night or a shuffleboard tournament. There’s a variety of games in the upstairs closet. brbrAlso downstairs is the Yellowstone Room. Its fun, twin set of bunkbeds — great for kids or those staying sans significant other — are sturdy, holding adults up to 225 lbs. Down the hallway you’ll find full bathroom no. 3 with a shower and then the Glacier Room which also has a queen bed.brbrAround the corner from the sectional is the sleeping nook with a fold-out full sized bed. Careful not to wake your friends up as you walk out onto the lower deck and its 7-person hot tub just outside. brbrIf you wander a bit into the woods, you’ll find one of our favorite spots, the fire pit. Surrounded by adirondack chairs, there’s nothing better than enjoying a warm fire on a cool evening while gazing up at the stars. The house is just minutes from some of the most beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. It's also around the corner from farmer's stands and down the road from Apple Orchards, Vineyards and Hard Cider Mills. Antique stores dot the countryside. The roads are perfect for cycling, running or simply taking a nice drive, and if you've never been to the area you'll be shocked and thrilled by the number of delicious restaurants, bars and shops. Our 18 private units (with 23 private bedrooms, 4 semi-private bedrooms & 18 total full bathrooms...plus a few more half baths) are perfect for family reunions, corporate retreats, Church retreats, women's retreats, golf outings, and any large group event where everyone would like to gather to hang out and make memories, but also have their own private room & bathroom.brbrReservations include a large main kitchen off the dining room perfect for cooking meals for large groups. The nearly commercial kitchen includes a large sink, small sink, double oven, commercial-size fridge, additional residential side-by-side fridge/freezer, and large microwave. Dishes, utensils, and a variety of cookware are provided. There is also a guest laundry room.brbrThe large backyard (nearly completely fenced in for peace of mind - believe us, with 3 boys under 6, it has been tested) has a sand volleyball court (which doubles as a giant sandbox for little ones), play structure, swings, yard games, and outdoor ping pong that keep the kiddos busy for hours (when they aren't swimming in the indoor heated pool). Six of the ground floor units have shaded backyard patios with hops growing up the sides. Plenty of picnic tables and chairs for everyone scattered around the yard and 2 firepits. There is also a gazebo with a couch, and a large flat top gas grill for cooking 30 burgers at a time.
