You have everything you need in the home for your shorter or long term stay including a fully stocked kitchen, a drip coffee maker, smart TVs in every bedroom and the living room for streaming, some card and board games, 2 bicycles, beach chairs and some beach toys. brbrbrbrThere is a community pool for your use and Gascoigne Park is a 2 minute drive/10 min walk. brbrbrbrIf your stay is between March 1 and October 31, you will receive a beach gear credit of $35/night for stays 3-21 nights. Our Ocean Walk unit is very popular due to its great location (in the peaceful, slow community of Ocean Walk) and reasonable cost. Updated, lovingly maintained! This unit has been renovated and we love it well! In addition to the remodel, 2 new flat screen tvs, new carpet, new sleeper soft and a refinished balcony. Treat yourself at Ocean Walk for your getaway! brOur unit has two bedrooms, two full baths, a full kitchen and of course a washer and dryer. There is an ensuite bathroom adjacent to the master bedroom, a second full bath across from the second bedroom and a small balcony. brOcean Walk is an immaculately kept condo community within walking distance to the Pier and Village of Saint Simons Island. SSI has a slow charm unique to the Golden Isles. The condo is tucked into a quiet corner of Ocean Walk, steps from the recently updated pool and BBQ, newly renovated playground, renovated tennis courts, duck pond, and clubhouse. Sit on the balcony and enjoy a cool drink or bike (or walk) into town for shopping, restaurants, or to watch who is catching what on the pier. brbrBicycle rental is nearby, and many folks just rent bikes and use the many bike trails around the island. Ocean Walk features two pools, take your pick, or drive about a mile to the beach. brbrSaint Simons Island is rich in history and culture. Take a trolley tour of the island, go to an antiques fair (check dates, there are usually two or so in summer), an art show, the cinema, fish to your heart's content, walk on the beach and collect shells, it's a great place to spend the winter or summer vacation with the kids. Or write a book!brbrThe condo itself has been refurbished, so everything is updated. We keep things up. We just added a Keurig, new patio furniture and a deck ceiling fan.
