Make sure there is room between the cars on the driveway so that the bear box is accessible. Again, never leave any food-related trash inside the garage, or bears may break into the garage. If you create too much garbage, then please take it with you. Do not overfill the trash cans or leave trash in the garage or there will be a $100 charge. South Lake Tahoe does not have a garbage dump so we can not dispose of extra trash. brbrParties/Noise: In order to respect our quiet, family neighborhood and to adhere to Airbnb rules, we do not allow parties in the house (this includes birthday parties), and we kindly ask that things are kept quiet after 10:00 pm. This is not a neighborhood for parties whatsoever.brbrParking: Parking is only permitted in the driveway. Street parking is not allowed by the City of South Lake Tahoe and you can be fined $1,000 for doing so.brbrCheck Out: Checkout is 11:00 am. Late checkout is $100/hour. Simply download the app and a TART shuttle will come and get you and take you to your desired location.brbrThere is a train station in Truckee (about 20 min drive away) and you can take public transportation from the station via the TART shuttle. brbrIt's a 10-minute, downhill bike ride from our condo to downtown King's beach.brbrWildlife:brbrPlease note that as you enjoy the beautiful national forest, trails, and meadows right outside the door, you may encounter forest animals like deer, raccoons, chipmunks, owls, stellar jays, bears, and coyotes.
