Beautiful Mountain Home with Fantastic Kitchen & Tree-Top Views

It's a nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It does feel bigger in pictures but the size worked for us. Loved the fact that they had board games which we extensively used.

However, I would not return because the beds and sheets were very uncomfortable. The chairs on the balcony had an evaporating paint residue on them so we could not sit on them.

It feels much bigger than it is and there’s plenty of parking and amenities to suit all of our family and friends. Conveniently located near Kings Beach and Incline Village and just a 20 minute drive to Tahoe City. The house was clean and ready to go with lots of towels and dishes and everything but one lightbulb worked. Only downside is there is no Lake View.

Guessing plumbing or sewer issue. Upstairs was fine but they really need to leave cable box remote as well. Nobody in family but me could use universal remote. Best part about cabin is location. Overpriced for what we got.

Our family enjoyed getting away from the bustle of life and enjoying Lake Tahoe. This cabin was extremely convenient to several hiking trails, beaches, grocery stores and the cute little town of Truckee. Plenty of space for everyone, including two teenagers! We hope return!

Beautiful home nestled in the woods. Quiet but close to town with nearby walking trails. Full kitchen amenities and grill on the deck for cooking. Unfortunately the lack of cleanliness and maintenance of the house made our experience less than enjoyable. Carpets, rugs, windows and ceiling fans (SO dusty), needed a deep cleaning. Some of the windows wouldn’t open and some window/door screens were missing. Ants were crawling around the downstairs bathroom; mouse droppings could be found along the walls and there was a hole in the outside wall from a woodpecker. Critters happen but you need to take care of them! Considering the price point of the rental fee and the housecleaning fee, I expected much more from this property! I certainly didn’t get my money’s worth of the house cleaning fee. I would caution against renting this property until these issues were resolved.

The house is comfortable and well equipped. The beds are comfortable. We would prefer a brighter light in the master toilet room. The carpets need cleaning.
