When renting someone else’s home, issues can arise that are out of our control. We ask that you communicate all issues as soon as they happen so we may be given the opportunity to rectify them. brbrFRAUDULANT CLAIMS. We believe in running an honest business and expect our guests to have the same mentality. Falsifying or embellishing home issues with the intention of receiving money back is something we will not tolerate. brbrCANCELLATIONS. We adhere to the cancellation policy we have set up on the site you booked through. We also highly recommend that our guests purchase travel insurance. However, we are human too. If you are past your cancellation time frame, please initiate the cancellation process on your end so we can open up the home’s calendar. Summit Tahoe cannot guarantee snow removal services to the roads and driveway will be completed by the county and/or snow removal vendors. Delays during heavy snowfall are to be expected. Snow shovels are provided onsite. Guests are required to carry chains with them to Tahoe per local law. brbrICY WALKWAYS. Our walkways in Tahoe are icy so make sure all members of your party have snow boots and walk with care. We do our best to clear snow and add ice melt but despite best efforts our walkways still become icy. We are not liable for any falls or slips on the ice.brbrPETS. This home is pet friendly. Our walkways in Tahoe are icy so make sure all members of your party have snow boots and walk with care. We have California black bears in Tahoe which are attracted to trash and food but will break into your cars for gum, crumbs, empty drinks, etc so make sure to always remove anything even remotely edible, roll up windows and lock car doors. We are not responsible for bear car break ins or resulting damage. Don’t say we didn’t want you. brbrPOWER OUTAGES. Power outages are very common in Tahoe year round but especially during the Winter. If the power goes out, the heat will also go out. We have emergency supplies locked in the linen closet. Message us during an outage for the code. It is 30 minutes to Kirkwood (weather depending) and 17 minutes to Sierra At Tahoe. This cabin is a great home base for those that love to explore Hope Valley or back country skiing, cross country skiing and more.brbrAs you enter the chalet you will find the open living room, dining area and well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms 1 & 2 are on this level along with a full bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and the second bath. The top of the stairs has a baby gate for little ones safety. brRiver View: Experience the soothing sights and sounds of the river as it flows past . Please make sure you carefully monitor children when exploring the river area.
