The bay side of Mission Beach is the quieter, more peaceful side, with families with children staying in the houses nearby and is NOT the college party scene. (If that is what you're looking for please look for a rental elsewhere.)brbrThere is no through-traffic on this end of Mission Beach, and the tip of Mission Beach has a great recreational area with volleyball nets and fire pits. It is far enough (1/2 mile) south of the roller coaster area so it's very removed from the tourist noise. It is off of the main boulevard and faces the bay, a very calm and peaceful atmosphere.brbrThe location is just 6 miles from the airport and 11 miles to the downtown Gaslamp district. It is just 3 miles from Sea World.brbrThe surfing is fantastic at the beach on the ocean side of Mission Beach for beginner to advanced surfers and great for spectators as well. We can recommend affordable one-on-one surf lessons or a group class that are offered daily on the beach. What's more, we can point you to all the best surf spots in San Diego County.brbrWe offer self-check in and keyless entry to make your arrival as easy as possible. There are no keys to lose, just a simple 4 digit passcode to remember. brbrThe beach condo includes a private patio that is right off of the boardwalk. You are welcome to use the BBQ and chill out on the patio to watch the locals cruise by on their bikes. br brIncluded with the rental is the use of boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids.brbrIf you bring a car we will provide you with one parking space that will fit a compact to mid-size sedan. Keep in mind that the space is quite tight so don't expect to fit a large vehicle like an SUV, van, or truck. If you rent a car we recommend a compact car. And if you do bring more than one vehicle keep in mind that the other cars will have to park on the street. Street parking can be very difficult to find during sunny summer days in Mission Beach.
