The mansion has been used for dozens of photo and video shoots by Williams Sonoma, Cost Plus, Loews, Gumps, Pottery Barn and others. As all this implies, the property is just beautiful, with grand rooms, and towering ceilings. brbrWe have done a huge amount of redecorating in the past few months, and the Mansion is more spectacular than ever. We can now provide at least 11 bedrooms. There are more in the house, but they may be in the process of decorating. If you need more, please ask if they are available before you book. Also, I only provide the number of bedrooms required, to avoid confusion for the cleaning people as to what rooms they should clean.brbrHere's an overview of the mansion (again, depending on your needs and redecorating status).brbrEntry Floor, all definitely available now (entered one flight of stairs from the - Big Kitchen, two dining rooms, two foyers, and living room. Five bedrooms. One bedroom is VERY large, with a King bed, and lots of seating. The other four have queen beds. This floor has two full bathrooms, and they are definitely available. The Kitchen has many pots and pans, blender, plates and bowls, glasses, cutting boards, cutlery, and microwave. brbrSecond Floor (at least 5 bedrooms available NOW) - the main bedroom floor: Nine bedrooms, all with Queen beds. It also has four bathrooms, all with showers. brbrTop Floor - Five bedrooms, all with Queen beds. And two bathrooms, both with showers. This floor also tons of comfortable lounging space, with at least five couches, PLUS three twin beds. brbrbrOutdoors:brThere are vast, beautiful outdoor spaces, with several furnished areas, in which to lounge and just enjoy the great many sunny days in Oakland (far sunnier than SF). It is VERY IMPORTANT not to be outside socializing (or otherwise making noise outside) after 9 pm. This is a residential neighborhood and this is required by law.brbrInteraction with guestsbrbrI love helping people have a great time in our beloved Oakland and nearby San Francisco. The house has hardwood floors, a dining room (seats 6) and living room with floor-to-ceiling windows with views of San Francisco, Marin, Golden Gate Bridge, Lake Merritt, and Alcatraz. There is also a modern, open-plan kitchen with granite countertops. brbrThe two main floor bedrooms each have queen-sized beds, the child's room off of the master bedroom has a twin bed in the shape of a race car, and the downstairs bedroom has both a queen-sized bed and a twin bed. The main bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The master bedroom with the adjoining child's room both have French doors opening to the back patio. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with stall shower. An architect built the home for himself, it's private and expansive. We have a view of a private golf course. If you listen closely outside at night, you can hear the wolves howling at the Oakland Zoo. We love sitting on our Cleopatra lounge chair sipping our morning tea as we watch the sunrise over the hills. We live here part time, so it's a very cozy personal atmosphere in a spacious home (4,300 square feet). A gourmet kitchen with lots of appliances, gadgets, knives, and condiments. Just bring your food and you'll be able to cook whatever you want.brbrGreat for two couples and/or a creative work time.brbrOne bedroom has a king bed, the other two bedrooms with high-end queen mattresses. All mattresses are high end memory foam mattresses (T&N and Essentia). There’s a half bath upstairs near the great room/kitchen area.brbrWe have stairs from the driveway to the front door, and a flight of stairs inside to get to the living room and kitchen.
