I would like to welcome you to the beautiful and amazing fresh air of the Sierra National forest amongst 100 and 200 foot cedar and pine trees in this almost 1800 Sq. Foot, 2 story chalet style cabin. It is located in the amazing and serene community of the historic Madera Sugar Pine Lumber Company, which was the largest, most successful lumber operation in the west. Sugar pine is just below Fish Camp on the way to Yosemite just minutes from the park entrance. This beautiful 2 story chalet style cabin sits high amongst the tall majestic Pine, Cedar and Fir trees. Open the back door and step out into the forest, a comfortable seating area, and gas fire pit provide the perfect ambience for a dinner on the front deck or just to relax among the tall trees and enjoy the peace, quiet and forest scents. The cabin is located 8 miles north of Oakhurst off of highway 41, just 7 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park and 20 minutes to Bass Lake. The upstairs master bedroom and a loft has views of the pines, and has a private 3/4 bath and a wall mounted t.v. A childs room with an amazing skylight over a twin bed shares the upper floor. The main floor offers a fully stocked kitchen with dinnerware, appliances, and all the amenities needed. The second bedroom with a 50 inch wall mounted TV, the second bathroom and the great room. The dining area has a table for 6, breakfast bar for 3 and wood burning fireplace. The living room has 2 large futons plus one additional rocking chair and a 75 inch television. The bathroom with with walk in shower and full indoor laundry room is also a few step away from the dining area. All TVs offer Dish TV with all the movie, sports and on demand channels, Wifi, and wifi calling are included, and local calls only on the land line. brOld historic Lewis Creek runs nearby, and the entrance to the famous Lewis Creek hike is just below the cabin on Road 630. The Lewis Creek hike boasts 2 very unique waterfalls, Red Rock and Corilieu Falls. Oringally, this creek was used to provide water to the 56 mile flume that took the cut lumber down to Madera during the production years of the lumbar company (1898-1931). The property is only 1 mile off highway 41. Sorry NO PETS Allowed.

The guidelines for the discount is that it is for 2 people, sharing 1 Bedroom and 1 Bathroom, ONLY the Master Bedroom and adjoining Bathroom will be open. All other Bedroom(s)/Bathroom(s) will be locked off. The entire rest of the home is yours to enjoy privately. The locked off bedroom(s) & bathroom(s) will NOT be rented out to anyone else. If your party of two is not a couple and you would like the use of an additional Bedroom and Bathroom there is a small $25 per night additional linen fee to compensate for lower rate we offer for couples sharing 1 room. We unfortunately have to lock off the additional rooms as we’ve had occasions where the home was booked for 2 and unpaid for guests were brought in which is unfortunate. If you have ANY questions regarding our pricing please inquire before booking your reservation to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.brbrADDITIONAL GUEST FEE’S: Although the description of the home indicates that it CAN accommodate 4 guests, we choose to offer this home at a reduced rate for smaller groups. We price our home in this fashion because we want to be fair to all group sizes, small and large alike. If we only offered a ‘flat rate’ no matter how many guests, smaller groups would pay the same as a larger group and we don’t think that is fair. We feel a smaller groups should pay less than a larger group. Most guests appreciate the break for their smaller group.brbrPets:brCATS: None of our homes allow for cats, no exceptions.brDOGS/Other animals: No animals are allowed in this home. If you bring a dog into our pet free home there will be an immediate fee of $250 no exceptions.brbrOUTSIDE FIRES (Not allowed usually between May and October ASK before doing so!!): California has been experiencing a severe drought and the area is extremely dry and the potential for a Wildfire is just to high to risk allowing guests to have an outdoor fire usually between May and October (ASK before lighting one!!). This regulation is determined by our local Fire Department and the banned months could be extended at any time. If you do not find a Fire Pit or Chiminea at the home, the fire ban is in place and they are not allowed PERIOD. When the fire ban is lifted, outside fires are allowed and they MUST be in an approved Fire Pit or Chiminea. If a outdoor fire pit or Chiminea is not provided, DO NOT under any circumstances gather rocks or other materials from around the home and create your own! This does not apply to the Propane BBQ's that are provided for your cooking pleasure. DO NOT use the BBQ for anything other than cooking your meal on, they are NOT intended to be used as a 'Fire Pit' and due to the propane tank attached to them they could explode by doing so.
