The Valley is 35 miles from the Southgate (approx. 1.5 hours in good conditions). I suggest getting an early start because travel times greatly increase during holidays and summer months. PLEASE CHECK YOSEMITE ABOVE FOR RESERVATIONS FOR SUMMER MONTHS. br Here, you will find a quaint private studio apartment that accommodates up to four people (two per bed). Currently there is one queen bed and one sofa bed (queen). Please note the price reflects for the first two people. There are additional charges for each person after. The apartment has a full mini kitchen furnished with dinnerware, coffee maker, microwave and necessities to enjoy an indoor meal.br Outdoors you will find the property peaceful and inviting with gorgeous views of Goat Mountain. The back yard is spacious and opens up to a path that leads to our seasonal Fine Gold Creek. (Please note: we are currently under some landscaping construction)br If, after visiting Yosemite or Bass Lake you still need something to do, you can check out North Fork and Bass Lake’s local attractions. Just down the road from Fine Gold Retreat is beautiful Manzanita Lake. It is a perfect little lake with the most peaceful setting for fishing, swimming or just hanging out to feed the ducks. It even has built-in grills so you can BBQ a few hamburgers. Manzanita Lake is one of my favorite places. Trust me; you will not regret taking the time to visit this special place. br North Fork is also home to the Mono Indian Museum and an art gallery that hosts local mountain artists. North Fork has the best pizza and Mexican food restaurant you could ask for.br Fourth of July weekend is a busy time for North Fork and Bass Lake. The weekend of July 4th, North Fork hosts our annual Loggers Jamboree where professionals and amateurs alike can show off their logging and timber skills. The jamboree is preceded by our local (OK, maybe a little corny) 4th of July parade.br Finally, we mustn’t forget about one of the best Independence Day fireworks displays at Bass Lake. People from all over the world come to celebrate the freedom of our wonderful country.

We like to hike so we ventured to Willows Near by which is an awesome hike with waterfalls and pools only 15-20 mins away.`br- Please do not have shoes or pets on carpets and furnitures.brbr- Max 2 crate-trained pets allowed. Any violation to the pet rules will cause $500 deposit to be withheld.brbr- $50 Hot Tub fee will be withheld from Security Deposit, unless Hot tub is returned back clean, with the cover intact on top and temperature set at 80 F. This is for the benefit of the incoming guests checking in.brbr- Smoking is not allowed within 30 feet from the property. Please reach out to primary host for designated smoking areas where you can smoke. This is a fire-prone area and no smoking allowed in the deck or backyard as well. We have beds that sleep up to 33 people.brbrMountain Manor hosts a large space perfect for visitors to Yosemite or Bass Lake. It is set in a beautiful upscale neighborhood with lots of space between neighbors, you may never see another soul while you are staying in our manor. If you are venturous and the season is right, you can walk to the end of our property to sit by our stream. Or just enjoy some quiet time spent on the porch enjoying the breeze. The smell of pine trees will make you feel like your are camping, but you`ll be a whole lot more comfortable in nice soft beds. We are 5 minutes from Bass Lake, we have spent many wonderful afternoons and evenings on the lake. We have driven to Yosemite many times to enjoy the beauty of it ,and if you have the time we recommend you visit the sights. We are 15 minutes from town. The drive to town is lovely.brbrThe base price includes 14 people. Guests 15 and above will be charged a fee of $35 per guest per night. The home can sleep, in beds 33 people which include 4 sofa sleepers and 2 pop up queen mattresses. Cascadel Falls, Angel falls at Bass Lake, and Whiskey Creek falls.brWe are 26 minutes to the south entrance according to driving notes in my review from a tenant as well as our experience driving into south entrance which is the entrance that has the giant grizzly Sequoia. The yosemite train is also outside the park on the way in from our house on highway 41, before the south entrance.brBehind the house is a school yard, which you cannot see but can hike to the top of in 5 minutes and cross over, for a football field, baseball field. tennis court, playground etc and occasional adult yoga class by a previous neighbor gym teacher of mine.
