This cabin built in 1947 has been remodeled to be complete with modern conveniences but still remains filled with Old Tahoe charm, and we've covered it in a bit of elegance . New stainless steel appliances in kitchen with new counters and custom made mosaic bar. Kitchen fully supplied with all necessary dishes, pots and pans, utensils, mixer, blender, wine rack, etc. Brazilian marble and granite vessel sink in bathroom, with vintage tub and shower. Master bedroom downstairs has king size 4 poster bed, upstairs has king and log bunk bed. All beds have new mattresses with quality bedding and pillows, and fresh new linens. Pac N Play and highchair provided. 3 TVs (cable) - one in each bedroom, and living room. TV in living room has DVR and DVD player and a huge DVD library. Games sets provided - dominos, cribbage, poker, bingo, monopoly, etc. This little jewel has the perfect location of only a 5 min walk to the lake, restaurants, shops, rentals. Northstar, Diamond Peak, Mt Rose, Homewood, Squaw Valley are only 15 to 25 min drive in either direction. The closest golf course is just a 2 minute drive. The home sits on a corner lot in the quaint Kings Beach Community, making access perfect for snowy winter months. Back porch perfect for storing ski and boarding equip. The summer months provide a backyard to relax on a hammock, a gas fire pit to toast mallows, gas barbeque and picnic table to enjoy summer meals. For the beach included are 6 beach towels, beach toys, 6 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, picnic basket and cooler, and a wagon to carry it all. 4 bikes are provided to cruise around the streets of Kings Beach and a 3 man kayak that can also be solo. It's on a roller to conveniently roll down to beach. There is nothing but quality, comfort, and charm to be found in this gorgeously decorated cabin that is more than a cabin, it's a home that we want you to enjoy over and over again. Our bright, sunny cabin is located on Lake Tahoe's beautiful North Shore in Kings Beach. The closest beach is about a 15 minute walk and the Old Brockway Golf Course is across the street. Sea doo and kayak rental and para sailing are nearby at Kings Beach State Recreation Area. The Safeway Marketplace and Deli is less than a mile for easy meals and picnics at the beach and there are many restaurant choices available, as well. The North Tahoe Regional Park is close by with tennis courts, bike path and extensive mountain biking/ hiking trails. The trailhead to the Tahoe Rim Trail is less than 2 miles from our cabin. brbrDuring Wintertime, we are also well located for skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Our cabin is close to Northstar At Tahoe (5 miles), Diamond Peak (5 miles), Squaw Valley (15 miles) and Alpine Meadows (14 miles). Nordic skiing and snowshoeing is within a few miles at the North Tahoe Regional Park, which is also great for sledding and snowmobiling. Many winters, snowmobile rental is also available on the Brockway Golf Course less than a mile from the cabin.
