Both beds have dual controlled heating pads during the winter season.brbrThere is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom & a wall mounted fan in the loft. brbrThe sleeping loft requires climbing a ladder to access. It is not suitable for small children or those who have mobility issues due to the falling hazard. It has a low ceiling therefore the mattress is not on a frame & you will NOT be able to stand up to walk around.brbrThe kitchen is fully equipped, with the exception of a full sized oven orbrdishwasher. We have fans and windows in each of the bedroom areas, and most evenings cool down considerably in the Tahoe area. brbrThe house is less than 15 minutes from Northstar, and you can ride the free local TART bus that picks up near the house for free! Keep in mind- in the Sierras it snows here, sometimes a LOT! In those events, there will be times where roads get closed, and plows are not able to clear the roads, sidewalks, and driveways as fast as one would hope. Please be patient and understand that these are difficult jobs that take time. Plan ahead for your trip, and we always suggest acquiring trip insurance. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we are not responsible for winter weather or travel delays. We have a snow plow services that helps maintain our driveway and path, but not unless there is more that 4 of snow. Overflow garbage and recycling must be taken off-site by the Guests and never left in a garage, vehicle, near a door or window, or any other unsecured outdoor location. Guests assume financial responsibility for all violations of the law. Local and State fines for improper storage and/or disposal range between $1,500 and $5,000 per occurrence. In addition, should a violation of this policy occur, your reservation will be immediately terminated, you will forfeit all fees paid, and the Property Owners will be entitled to reimbursement by the Guests for loss of revenue due to revocation of their Short Term Rental Permit.brbr08.
