'Chateau Relax-O' Oceanfront,Closest to sand,Sweeping Views,Free Night Offer..

Bodega Bay, California, United States

Enter this home and expect to be amazed by the immense power and beauty of the ocean. This home is the closest you can get to the sandy beach (of all rental homes offered in Bodega Harbour development.) I suggest the first thing you do upon entering this home is recline in one of the down filled lounge chairs that are perched in the front bay window over looking the entire coastline, from Point Reyes to Bodega Head. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, then open your eyes and look out towards the horizon. You will feel as though you are floating on water as you sink deeper into the down filled cushion that is keeping you comfy, while the warmth of the sun shines down upon you. If you are wearing shorts you may just catch a tan (summer or winter). Or possibly you will see the spouts from a migrating whale. This is where the magic of Bodega begins. In fact, you will enjoy ocean views from every room in this comfortable contemporary home. (This home sits on the front side of exclusive Gull Drive loop, you won't be looking over rooftops to an ocean view from this house, all views are unobstructed, just you and the ocean here.) Staying here you will feel like you have spent your entire vacation on the ocean, regardless of whether you actually venture out the front door and put you toes in the sand. The setting is so relaxing that each day will feel as though you have spent three days here.brbrConsider a personal chef for dinner or create your own meals in the chef kitchen. Cooking or dining, you and your guests can enjoy your meal from the dining room (complete with wood burning fireplace and sitting area) while watching the sun set upon Bodega Head. Watch your family or friends walk on the beach after dinner. Or take them out tide pooling before dessert is served.brbrThe back of the house faces the 9th hole and has a large deck complete with fire pit and lounge chairs. Golfers can play the first 9 holes, step into the house for lunch, refreshments and a visit, and continue on the back 9. The 18 hole Scottish links course has breathtaking views and cannot be missed!brbrKids and adults both will enjoy the dining facility and pro shop just steps away from the house at the nearby club house. BEAUTIFUL hiking trails abound! If you are an equestrian, Chancelor Ranch is a short drive once there you and your guests can take a trail ride into the mountains or down to the beach. Kayaking opportunities are endless and guided tours are available nearby. Limo service from Airports and for wine country excursions available upon request. There is much to do if you are interested, or nothing to be done at all, if this is what you prefer. However you choose to relax, Chateau Relax-o lives up to it's name.....just relax.....brbrIf it is a romantic weekend, special occasion, or you are just looking for a place to reconnect with self, family, friends and nature, look no further, this is your place! Private in house masseuse also available upon request. A babysitter may be able to be arranged based on availability.brbrbrbrKeywords: oceanfront, unobstructed white water and sweeping ocean views, on golf course, luxury, brcontemporary, bodega harbor, beachfront, wine country, near San Francisco

Bodega Bay Oceanview Home with Hot Tub & Sauna

Bodega Bay, California, United States

Summary:brbrSoak in your private hot tub as the sun sets over Bodega Bay, then retreat to the cedar sauna for total relaxation. This 5-bedroom home perches above The Links golf course with sweeping ocean views from nearly every room. Room for 10 guests across three levels. Just a 10-minute walk to Doran Beach's protected sands and 5 minutes to the golf course. Mornings here start with coffee on the deck, watching the fog lift to reveal the Pacific stretching endlessly before you.brbrbrbrThe Space:brbrAt Fairview Grande, mornings begin on the deck as the dew burns off the fairways, afternoons walking the bluff trails or playing the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Course, and evenings watching the sun melt into the Pacific from the hot tub.brbrbrbrPlush sofas and leather chairs face the gas fireplace, the picture windows framing the Pacific so persistently that the smart TV usually loses. Striking blue-black granite meets light wood cabinetry on the gourmet kitchen's island, with stainless seating for four at breakfast and prep. The dining table seats twelve beneath a black iron chandelier — and a wet bar with filtered water finishes off an entertaining footprint built for the group that takes over a five-bedroom home for a long weekend.brbrbrbrOUTDOOR LIVINGbrbrYour wrap-around deck features weathered wood and cable railing preserving panoramic views. Settle into Adirondack chairs for morning coffee, then fire up the gas grill for dining at the table for six. The private hot tub is perfectly positioned for sunset over the bay.brbrbrbrSLEEPING ARRANGEMENTSbrbrFive bedrooms and four bathrooms accommodate your group in style. The primary king suite features vaulted ceilings with golf course and ocean views and an en-suite walk-in shower. Two more kings and two queens feature wood-paneled accents and sliding barn doors, each with its own TV. Sleeps 10.brbrbrbrPROPERTY AMENITIESbrbr-- Private hot tub with bay viewsbrbr-- Private saunabrbr-- Gas fireplacebrbr-- Gas grillbrbr-- Wrap-around deckbrbr-- Parking for 4 (2 in garage)brbrbrbrGuest Access:brbrSoak in the private hot tub on the wrap-around deck while ocean and golf-course views fill the wall of windows, then duck into the sauna for the foggy days. You've got the whole home with a gas fireplace and exposed beams under vaulted ceilings. Punch in the keypad code on arrival; the garage fits two small cars or one larger, with overflow on the street.brbrbrbrThe Neighborhood:brbrYour South Harbour neighborhood perch puts you just a 5-minute walk from The Links at Bodega Harbour, the Robert Trent Jones-designed golf course with its Scottish-style links and ocean views. Stroll 10 minutes to reach the access path to Doran Beach, where 2 miles of protected sandy shoreline invite beachcombing and kite flying. The famous Spud Point Crab Company sits 1.9 miles away — arrive early for their legendary crab sandwiches and clam chowder. Within 2 miles you'll find waterfront dining at The Boat House (2.0 mi), Gourmet Au Bay (2.0 mi), and Ginochio's Kitchen (2.0 mi). For morning coffee, Captain Davey's Coffee and Ice Cream (1.1 mi) serves excellent brews. The Pinnacle Gulch Trail (0.5 mi) offers dramatic coastal hiking, while Bodega Head Trail (2.0 mi) provides California's best shore-based whale watching from December through May. Pick up groceries at Diekmann's Bay Store (1.9 mi) or Pelican Plaza Grocery & Deli (2.0 mi).brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrBodega Bay is about 90 minutes from San Francisco — a beautiful drive up 101 and out Highway 1 through farmland and coastal ranches. You'll have parking for 2 cars in the garage (small cars) or 1 larger vehicle, plus street parking for 2 more cars. A car makes exploring the Sonoma Coast effortless — it unfolds for miles in either direction. Cell service is light along the coast, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is a good idea.brbrbrbrOther Things to Note:brbrThe home stays naturally cool thanks to coastal breezes and doesn't have air conditioning — even summer highs rarely exceed 70°F here. The primary renter must be 25 or older. Take advantage of your private sauna after beach walks or golf rounds. Cell service can be spotty along the coast, but the home's Wi-Fi keeps you connected when needed. Summer fog is common in the mornings but often burns off by afternoon — that's part of Bodega Bay's coastal charm. Don't miss the whale watching from Bodega Head (best December-May) or the Hitchcock filming locations in the town of Bodega, just 5 miles inland. Layer up even in summer — the coast stays cool year-round.

Panoramic Ocean Views from Bodega Bay Hilltop

Bodega Bay, California, United States

Summary:brbrWatch gray whales breach from your living room as Pacific storms roll across the horizon. This hilltop retreat puts you above it all with sweeping ocean views from nearly every room. Three bedrooms sleep six comfortably. Just steps from the Pinnacle Gulch Trail leading to tide pools below. Fresh crab sandwiches at Spud Point are 2.5 miles away, Fishetarian Fish Market just 1.8 miles. The Sonoma Coast unfolds before you — where watching the sunset becomes the evening's main event.brbrbrbrThe Space:brbrSpend mornings on the bluff as fog burns off the Pacific, afternoons exploring the Sonoma Coast's tide pools and trails, and evenings around the dining table with fresh crab from the harbor.brbrbrbrTwo sofas and an armchair face a wood-burning fireplace set against a deep-blue accent wall, the picture windows pulling the Pacific in. Beneath a Tiffany-style pendant, honey-toned cabinetry lines the kitchen and a ladder-back table sets casual breakfasts. A separate formal dining room — ornate table under a skylight, built-in bookshelves stocked with vacation reads — is where evenings stretch over a bottle and a slow second course.brbrbrbrOUTDOOR LIVINGbrbrThe wraparound deck becomes your outdoor living room, with built-in bench seating along light blue railings and white Adirondack chairs for morning coffee. The elevated position delivers panoramic views over rolling hills, and a gas grill stands ready for fresh harbor seafood.brbrbrbrSLEEPING ARRANGEMENTSbrbrThe master welcomes you with a king bed on carpeted floors. A second bedroom offers a queen bed with light blue walls and coastal decor, the third another queen bed with a dark metal frame. Sleeps 6.brbrbrbrPROPERTY AMENITIESbrbr-- Wood-burning fireplacebrbr-- Full kitchen with dishwasherbrbr-- Washer and dryerbrbr-- Gas grillbrbr-- Wraparound deck with ocean viewsbrbr-- Smart lock entrybrbrbrbrGuest Access:brbrStep out to the elevated deck with built-in seating and Bodega Bay opens up below — vaulted, beamed ceilings and skylights pulling light through the great room behind you. The whole home is yours, with a wood-burning fireplace and ocean views from inside. Punch in the keypad code at the door, and pull up to three cars in the driveway.brbrbrbrThe Neighborhood:brbrYour hilltop perch in Bodega Harbour puts you at the heart of California's most dramatic coastline. The Pinnacle Gulch Trail starts just 0.2 miles away, leading down to tide pools and a quarter-mile beach. For that famous Dungeness crab sandwich, Spud Point Crab Company is 2.5 miles at the harbor. Closer dining includes Fishetarian Fish Market (1.8 miles) for sustainable seafood and The Dog House (1.6 miles) for casual bites. Stock up on groceries at Diekmann's Bay Store (2.4 miles) or grab morning coffee at Captain Davey's (1.6 miles). Doran Beach stretches for 2 miles just 1.4 miles away — perfect for beachcombing and kite flying. The dramatic bluffs of Bodega Head, where volunteers help spot migrating whales January through May, rise 2.4 miles south. Wine lovers can taste cool-climate Pinot Noir at Sonoma Coast Vineyards (1.7 miles), the only tasting room in town.brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrBodega Bay is about 90 minutes from San Francisco — a beautiful drive up 101 and out Highway 1 through farmland and coastal ranches. You'll have three parking spaces at the house. A car makes exploring the Sonoma Coast effortless — it unfolds for miles in either direction. Cell service is light along the coast, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is a good idea.brbrbrbrOther Things to Note:brbrThe home stays naturally cool thanks to ocean breezes and coastal fog — typical Bodega Bay highs reach only 60s-70s even in summer, so you won't miss air conditioning. Bring layers! Morning fog often burns off by afternoon. The wood-burning fireplace creates perfect ambiance for storm watching in winter — firewood available locally. The primary renter must be 21 or older. While the deck offers stunning views, ocean views from inside vary by room as noted in the Vacasa description. High-speed internet is available throughout the home. For the full coastal experience, time your visit for gray whale migration (December-May) or the clear, warm days of fall.

Bodega Bay Salmon Creek Waterfront Cottage for Two and Dogs

Bodega Bay, California, United States

Summary:brbrSalmon Creek flows past your deck as harbor seals play in the tidal waters below. Curl up by the gas fireplace with your pup after exploring the beach — just a short walk away. This intimate cottage for two sits directly on the water with sweeping views across the creek to distant hills. Spud Point's legendary crab sandwiches are 1.5 miles south. Your front door opens to the wild Sonoma Coast, where gray whales pass in winter and the sound of the Pacific carries on the breeze.brbrbrbrThe Space:brbrSpend mornings on the bluff as fog burns off the Pacific, afternoons exploring the Sonoma Coast's tide pools and trails, and evenings around the dining table with fresh crab from the harbor.brbrbrbrA turquoise sectional and matching armchair gather around a woven rattan coffee table, the gas fireplace anchoring the room beneath exposed white ceiling beams. Large windows frame the wetlands and Salmon Creek beyond. The kitchenette runs along one wall with open shelving, a white-tile backsplash, a full-size fridge, and a toaster oven — enough for simple meals but no full oven or dishwasher, so plan one or two dinners out at The Casino in Bodega. A natural wood dining table seats four by the window.brbrbrbrOUTDOOR LIVINGbrbrStep onto the wooden deck with wire cable railing to take in panoramic views of Salmon Creek and the surrounding wetlands. Red wooden chairs and blue Adirondack chairs provide multiple spots to settle in, while a gas grill and red-and-white striped patio umbrella make outdoor dining a delight. String lights create warm ambiance for evening relaxation as the sun dips below the waterline.brbrbrbrSLEEPING ARRANGEMENTSbrbrThe bedroom offers a queen bed with a white headboard and coral accent pillows beneath exposed white ceiling beams. A tall wooden armoire provides ample storage, and pendant lighting with nautical wall decor complete the coastal retreat. The cottage comfortably sleeps 2.brbrbrbrPROPERTY AMENITIESbrbr-- 1 bedroom, 1 bathroombrbr-- Gas fireplacebrbr-- Gas grillbrbr-- Waterfront deck with seatingbrbr-- Dog-friendly (up to 4 dogs welcome)brbr-- Smart lock entrybrbrbrbrGuest Access:brbrPour a glass on the harbor-side deck and watch the bay from a cottage finished in white beams and coastal blues — the gas fireplace catches the chill once the wind picks up. The whole cottage is yours, dogs included, with ocean and river views from inside. Punch in the keypad code at the door, and tuck two cars in out front.brbrbrbrThe Neighborhood:brbrYou're perfectly positioned in Salmon Creek, where the creek meets the Pacific just two miles north of Bodega Bay proper. Salmon Creek State Beach awaits just 0.4 miles away — a short walk for morning beach strolls with your pup. The legendary Spud Point Crab Company (1.5 mi) serves their famous crab sandwiches and award-winning clam chowder that draw lines on weekends. For morning coffee, Sea Flower Cafe (1.0 mi) is your closest option, or try Roadhouse Coffee (1.1 mi). When hunger strikes, Terrapin Creek (1.1 mi) offers upscale coastal cuisine, while The Boat House (1.3 mi) serves casual fare with dog-friendly outdoor seating. Stock up on essentials at Pelican Plaza Grocery & Deli (1.4 mi) or Diekmann's Bay Store (1.4 mi). Nature lovers will appreciate the Sonoma Coast State Marine Conservation Area (0.3 mi) and multiple beach access points. Chanslor Ranch (0.5 mi) offers horseback riding along the coast. The Coastal Prairie Trail (0.9 mi) provides easy hiking with ocean views.brbrbrbrGetting Around:brbrBodega Bay is about 90 minutes from San Francisco — a beautiful drive up 101 and out Highway 1 through farmland and coastal ranches. You'll have parking for two vehicles at the cottage. Note: during king high tide events, the road and parking area may temporarily flood — check tide schedules before your trip. A car makes exploring the Sonoma Coast effortless — it unfolds for miles in either direction. Cell service is light along the coast, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is a good idea.brbrbrbrOther Things to Note:brbrThe kitchenette is perfect for simple meals but lacks a full oven and dishwasher — plan accordingly or enjoy the many excellent local restaurants. The cottage stays naturally cool thanks to coastal breezes and doesn't have air conditioning — you'll rarely need it here where summer highs reach only the 60s. Salmon Creek Beach is an easy walk from your door — perfect for morning dog walks. Keep your pup leashed near the creek as harbor seals often rest on the banks. The gas grill on the deck is ideal for grilling fresh seafood from local markets. Internet is provided though speeds may vary. The primary renter must be 21 or older. The string lights on the deck create magical evenings — the switch is just inside the sliding door. Please be aware that during king high tide events, the road and parking area may experience temporary flooding. Check tide schedules if you're arriving during a king tide.
