Stayed Sep 29, 2023Of course the view was amazing! Can't beat that. Being so close to the highway there is some noise and traffic but not a night or early morning. Sunsets are GORGEOUS! The electric kettle did not work, an ice maker would be terrific, but other than that, no complaints!

Stayed Jul 11, 2025Great views and location. Easy to find and good parking. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, silverware and dishes. Close to Bodega Bay and nearby beaches. The place needs some updating. The two sitting chairs looking out the front window are stained and a bit broken down. The couch in living room is old and saggy. The kitchen cabinets need paint. We didn't spend much time during the day there, too many beaches and other places to explore. We stayed 7 nights. Good restaurants in Bodega and the Wild Poppy in Sebastopol is a fun place to eat. Great food and atmosphere. All in all we had a good stay.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025The view was amazing. The location is easy to find and the parking is good. Close access to beaches and Bodega Bay. Some of the furniture needs to be replaced and the house could use some updating. The kitchen is well equiped with lots of pots and pans. Plenty of utinsils and silverware. All in all, we had a enjoyable time!

Stayed Apr 26, 2025I love this house enough that I have stayed here at least 5 times prior. However when I arrived this time the house reeked of skunk smell, so profound my eyes burned. There was a big blue stain on the main bed and several window coverings were broken so I immediately notified the company. Communication was awful. 2 days later I received a text from their maintenance man confirming the house had been skunked and he did all he could do. I just can't believe that they would let me book the house without notifying me of this first. I kept windows open all day long but at night every time the heat ran it blew skunk stench in and would both wake me and irritate my eyes. When I got home I notified the company how disappointed I was in this experience and they offered absolutely nothing to make things right. I love this house, and location, and fenced yard; but am deeply disappointed that this happened. I wanted to book this place again in a couple months but now I'm sure I'm comfortable with that. And that saddens me.

Stayed Jan 2, 2025First I want to say that my family and I take several vacations throughout the year and stay in home rentals. Also I have stayed in this rental before 2.5 years ago. Unfortunately this rental has not been kept up over this time period. Pros: The view! This is the best feature about this rental, but it is amazing. We enjoyed each day and evening watching sunsets either on the front deck or in the front room chairs. It is fairly well stocked on pots, pans, silverware, plates and cups. Cons: First you enter through the back door electronic dead bolt, not the front door. Went to open the front door to bring all of our stuff in and it would only open halfway. I understand with old houses they swell in the winter with rain, however this was not communicated to be a problem or being addressed. The handle itself was very hard to open and my elderly mother could not open it on her own. This posses a fire danger not being able to go out the front door away from the house. The deck had parts where the planks were lifting and also another hazard. The front chairs inside the home were very stained, as were some of the towels and washcloths. Only bare minimum paper products were provided and were very low quality. The floors need seriously tlc. It would be nice to have an actual glass to enjoy wine or a cocktail, not a mug or plastic cup. Are these things nitpicky? Yes, but at this price this is no longer 5 stars. Also Vacasa was no help when I alerted them to these issues.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We truly did enjoy our stay here. The beds were comfy, nice little den to watch tv and the separate living area with the amazing ocean and sunset view made it exceptional. The location made it handy to explore beaches, come back make lunch and head out again. We would come again. Thank you for having us stay in your home.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024My husband and I stayed here with our dog for our honeymoon. The house is GORGEOUS! We checked in around sunset so we literally saw the sunset over the ocean from the big glass window. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom has a lot of room, and I loved the updated appliances. Check in process was a little difficult but we did figure it out. Nearest grocery store is 30 minutes no matter the direction so definitely shop on the way in.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The one thing that kept on bringing us back is the view and the four chairs out front on the deck. We truly love sitting there for hours and seriously hours in the sun, listening to the waves watching the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful and very, very serene.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved the location of the house. Being able to see the ocean was a real plus. The home is comfortable including the beds. The air conditioner struggled at times, but we would open the door to let cool air in. Kitchen is a little dated but well stocked. Overall, we had a great stay

Stayed Jun 28, 2024Really loved this place. Perfect, unobstructed view of the ocean. Even though right on the freeway, it was very quiet. Away from the crowds but less than 10 minutes to the heart of Bodega Bay restaurants and activities. Very comfortable accommodations with everything you need for a perfect getaway. Great place to go to relax and watch the waves crash on the rocks.
