Mickey&Friends is the perfect alternative to a pricey hotel 'room' at an affordable rate, perfect for families on a budget. With you in mind we tried to offer a comfortable and homey enviroment by providing all amenities in our vacation rental :brand new stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors,granite countertops, beautiful landscaped patio, enclosed community swimming pool, wading pool, a large spa that stays warm all the time, an enclosed playground for the kids with top of the line equipment, garage and stall parking, internet access, dish network, and a complete city walk of shops and restaurants across the street at Downtown Disney. We've tried to think of everything you might enjoy, including a DVD video library, 43 flat screen, DVD-TV combo in the master bedroom, Queen sized bed, a twin/ full combo bunk for the 2nd bedroom, coded entry so you don't have to worry about the keys, iPod docking station, classic board games, children's toys, a Port-a-Crib, a safety gate for the stairs, single stroller, highchair, and a 2 person WIl gaming system with a variety of WII games! Our vacation home has 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and features the most amazing backyard with a lazy river pool and slide, outdoor dining room, outdoor living room and space to play! We have a huge playhouse for the kids and a BBQ for dinners outside in the California sunshine!brbrLazy rivers are one of my (and my kids) favorite things and we usually seek out resorts that have one. No need now as there is a lazy river right in the backyard! The pool is in the center and the shallow end has a big baja shelf. There's a bridge over the river to an island that gets you into the pool and completely encircling the pool is a 5' wide and 3' deep lazy river! A rock slide goes over the river to the deep end of the pool and there is a sitting grotto and double waterfalls under the slide onto the lazy river. The lazy river flow is so fun and we provide plenty of floats :) The pool area has grass to play on, an outdoor living room and an above ground spa. The entire pool area is fully secured with a fence and self-locking MagnaLatch gates. One gate takes you to the side yard and the other takes you back into the living room. The side yard is a great place for the little ones to play outside as it's separated from the pool area and has an awesome playhouse, a grassy area and an outdoor dining table with a BBQ. In this room, we have built-in two sets of bunk beds into a central giant “Hangman’s Tree” House, just like the ‘Lost Boys’ have. Which may remind you of ‘the Darling’s’ children’s nursery window bench and it is perfect for curling up with a good book. There is one bedroom and a designated work room with a computer. There is one full bathroom.brSecond floor has a master bedroom that has an extra room with a pulled-out bed sofa. This room has a bathroom with it. The second bedroom upstairs is the largest bedroom that has two queen-size beds and a 65” TV plus another customized marble wall bathroom. The only king-size bed is in the third room up stairs and next to that is another bedroom. There are 3 bathrooms upstairs and 2 of them are inside the bedrooms and 1 bathroom is outside to be shared by the junior bedrooms. brThere is a granny flat that not belonged to the house in the back. There is a very sweet family who will not bother us. They are also the house keeper. Please do not disturb the people who live here. Our house is filled with gorgeous furnishings, sumptuous bedroom retreats for the adults (6 Cal Kings and 1 queen), toys/entertainment for everyone and amazing themed kid's bedrooms: Frozen dreamland for the girls (feels like you actually stepped into the movie!) and Superhero top of the city hang-out for the boys with built-in bunkbeds and a ball pit! The adult bedrooms (there are 8 of them) all have comfortable beds and linens and unique personalities -- no one will have to double up since there are so many!brbrThe house is two stories, with all communal spaces on the first floor adjacent to one another. Our great room is over 800 square feet and is ideal for family time at home. The kitchen is a chef's dream: spacious and open with a 48' Viking stove, 48' refrigerator, Quartz counter tops and a 6 person eat-at counter. Many small appliances, ample dishware, utensils and basic spices are provided. The kitchen flows into the dining room where our beautiful dining table awaits family meals (and board games!) and extends to seat 14. Off the dining room is the living room which boasts a gigantic 16' x 13' leather sectional and a 65 TV with plenty of room for the kids to romp around while the adults relax. Off the living room is our garage game room with an 8' Olhausen pool table (has a ping pong topper too), Tornado foosball table, leather sectional and TV. Our 10th bedroom doubles as a den and features a fully stocked entertainment center (Wii, large DVD library, board games, toys, books and travel guides) and is off the great room. It also has a twin daybed with a twin trundle.brbrStroll through the patio doors off the dining room to enjoy the fabulous Southern California weather in our backyard. The pool features a Baja step for the little ones, dual waterfalls and pool toys.
