Lots of hiking trails, kayaking, fishing, a playground, tennis courts, a petting zoo and a swimming pool in summer. You must go check out the new visitors center and Petit Jean Coffee Shop during your stay. For food, the Petit Jean Lodge is a beautifully designed rustic dining experience. The local general store sells very basics for camping. They also have a grill and deli (burgers and sandwiches). My personal favorite is the Petit Jean Coffee shop, located near East Entrance. Swanky, creative and a full coffee shop experience. They offer breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal and several great lunch sandwiches. On the weekends, it is fun to visit with farmer's market (1039) Winrock Dr. They sell local produce, baked goods and serve lunch sandwiches also.brbrFrom our cabin, it is best to drive to any location in the park or on the mountain. Mainly because there are are no established sidewalks and the roads are dirt and narrow from our cabin to the park.

With room to comfortably sleep up to 10 guests, you’ll wake up to sweeping 180° views from 700 feet above the Arkansas River. Relax by the gas fireplace indoors or gather around the fire pit outside under the stars. Enjoy the view from the 4-person hot tub right next to the home.brbrOne of the owners of this home is a licensed real estate agent in Arkansas, with TKP Management LLC.brbrA few important things to note:br-The home is close to a large wooded area, state park, river and natural areas. Although we use regular pest control services, it is not uncommon to see a few bugs inside and outside the home. Lately there has been an infestation on the mountain of Japanese ladybugs. Some may get in the home, there is a cordless vacuum if you would like to remove them yourself. We remove them all at each cleaning between bookings.br-The recently added hot tub is available for guests, but not guaranteed to be in full working order at all times. If the hot tub is not usable for your stay, we will refund $25/night of your booking upon request. Guests are responsible for turning the hot tub temperature up, and covering it while not in use. The hot tub heats up at approximately 6 degree per hour, and is kept at 95 degrees between guests. Please allow 2 hours for it to heat to 104 degrees, while covered. Children under 15 years old are not allowed to use the hot tub, even with adult supervision. Due to high winds in the area, the hot tub cover needs to be in place and clipped on all 4 corners, while not in use. Please turn the hot tub down to 95 degrees when finished using. brbrAdditional House Rules:br-No Parties, large events, or commercial use of the property, without prior approval.br-No Pets are allowed. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 cleaning fee. br-No Smoking of any kind (including vaping) inside the property or on the front or back porches; must be 10+ feet from the home. Dispose of cigarette butts responsibly to avoid additional cleaning fees. No use of illegal drugs on the property. Smoking inside will result in an $800 cleaning fee.br-Guests are welcome to have fire arms with them on the property and inside the home. No hunting or recreational use of fire arms on the property. If a weapon is left behind at checkout, it will be turned over to local law enforcement. br-No use of fireworks on the property.br-Quiet Hours are between 10p and 7a.br-Toilets - a plunger and brush have been provided for your needs.
