We spend a great time, house was clean and had an awesome view of the River, humming birds around 20 of them coming to our window every morning and evening, 3 nice rooms , two bathrooms, and all kitchen utensils provided to make our own breakfast every morning. Great property!!!

Wonderful home with an amazing view. Large living area for kids to spread out and do their own thing and also play together. The sunroom was a pleasant surprise enjoyed by both adults and kids.

The house was comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed preparing meals in the fully stocked kitchen and having coffee in the morning in the sunroom.

Absolutely amazing view at such a cozy location! Our two kiddos loved the place as much as we did. The place was very clean and we were able to find everything we needed easily. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The master bathtub was such a treat after a long day of hiking to help with sore muscles. Sheila and John were amazing at answering any questions we had before check-in. Wonderful place. Thank you again for sharing it with us!

We’ve stayed on the mountain at Petite Jean many times in the past but wanted to try out a new place. Found this house on VRBO and decided to give it a try.We loved it!The sunroom with its huge views over the river and valley was our favorite part. We saw half a dozen Bald Eagles in one day! The kitchen was stocked and easy to work in. The master bed was comfortable. The house was roomy and easy to find. This isn’t a new build so there are some slightly worn areas on and in the house just like any home that has been lived in. The house is located near the Petite Jean State Park with tons of hiking and other outdoor excitement! The host was quick to respond to questions and very pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we will be back!

It was a very nice house with spectacular views. Very clean. Very close to Pettit Jean State Park. The host was extremely helpful. They even refilled the Hummingbird feeders so we could set in the sun room and watch them.

We had 3 couples staying for a friends wesding in Petit Jean State Park. The views were beautiful, the sunroom was awesome to hang out in to watch the hummingbirds. They had an outdoor fire pit and we enjoyed hanging out at night. We hikes many trails in the park. Would recommend to anyone who wants a laid back nature trip

My husband’s family has their family reunion most years at Petit Jean State Park. This year they were doing some renovations and we decided to stay outside the park. This home was the perfect place for our family. My grands and I love to read and the peacefulness made it so easy to relax and get lost in our books. And the hummingbirds!

As advertised. Owner made contact on arrival day and reviewed check-in. We loved the view and how quiet the entire stay was. The location was good. Only 3 minutes to Stout Point to watch the sunrise and 7 minutes to Mather Lodge for sunset and trails.

Very nice house and very clean. We were pleased with how well stocked the house was with Kleenex, paper towels, trash bags, and cleaning supplies for dishes. We loved the fact there were heated blankets on every bed. We also were impressed about the number of blankets available to cover up while in the living room or sunroom. There is a beautiful view in the amazing sunroom. We spent all of our time in that room. We would stay here again!

It was very cold. We just stayed inside, visited, ate, laughed, ate, reminisced, did a jigsaw puzzle, ate. It was perfect.

My family got together for a short get away. The weather was not good but we enjoyed ourselves anyone. Sheila gave me ideas of what to do with a toddler on a rainy day on the mountain. We loved the sunroom at the house. Nice place and we hope we can stay again.

Wonderful view and amenities

The view is spectacular. The property is exactly as presented on the VRBO app. The owners gave out absolutely precise instructions which made it easy to check in and use the wifi. The location is perfect for exploring Petit Jean if you can tear yourself away from thepatio. Wonderful time.

We and our friends had planned a trip to NC unfortunately Hurricane Helene caused a lot of damage to the area we were going so we had to make other plans. We had never spent time in Arkansas so decided to go to Petit ahead Mountain State Park. The house we rented was in a wonderful location—very close to the trails we wanted to hike and within a good distance of golf courses we wanted to play. The living area of the house—especially the sunroom was great with a beautiful view. The host couple went above and beyond by getting espn on the tv so we could watch all the ballgames. There were many supplies included and the house was very clean.

Edge House is a home tucked inside of wooded hillside overlooking beautiful river and close to Petit Jean State Park. Enjoyed driving the area and walking and exploring the fun trails and seeing the wildlife up close. Love the convenience of a home away from home.
