We just had an unexpected cancellation and so the week of June 13-20 recently became available. brbrThis 2,400 square foot lakehome includes direct access to the lake, a spacious backyard perfect for yard games, 100 feet of shoreline, and a beautiful bar in the finished basement that includes a 55 inch TV. There are 2.5 bathrooms and four bedrooms that can sleep 12 comfortably. There are a few spots where it's a little shallower. For a true sandy beach, head to Hayward City Beach which is less than one mile from the cabin.brbrbrbrQ: Does the cabin have good heat brbrA: Yes it does! We recently upgraded to mini-split heater/AC units. The heating and cooling is simply remote controlled and responds much faster than our previous heating system.brbrbrbrQ: Where's the flat sheet on the bed brbrA: Keeping with the European-style theme, the bed has a duvet. We change and clean ALL linens after every stay and take great pride in our cleanliness. We also have an extra blanket stored if you need it.brbrbrbrQ: Is there enough room to park a boat/trailer brbrA: Yes! The parking area is large enough for several vehicles. If you have a trailer, you can back in park in three different areas. You can launch your boat there and tie it down on one of our docks! You really get the best of both worlds here as the house is next to the lake but is also a 7-mile drive to downtown Hayward and all the other attractions, festivals, etc!!brbrThe spacebrThis is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and the ensuite bathroom has a shower and garden tub. The second bedroom also has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a full and twin bed. They share the main bathroom which has a full-size shower and bench.brbrGuest accessbrYou will access the cottage with an electronic keypad on the front door off the deck- code and more detailed instructions will be given to you prior to your stay. There is a driveway and a parking area along the side of the house for easier unloading. The driveway is big enough to park 2 vehicles and trailers. You can also park on Spruce Lane which is the road that the side parking is on. It is a quiet road.brbrOther things to notebrThe indoor fireplace is not currently usable. We totally understand that some guests may want to use it. Unfortunately, it poses too many risks and potential issues for regular use. There is a large firepit outside that you are welcome to use!
